Good hotel and value for money. Continental breakfast OK but would have been nice to be served teas and coffees. The only downside was room was very hot and need to put air conditioning for most of the time. Very clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Location was good and some nice reasonable restaurants nearby. Wifi was supposed to be super...

There are many good points to recommend this hotel but some things where they could do better. The hotel is convenient for Victoria transport links and for hitting the sights of London. With average fitness you can walk to the major tourist spots within an hour easily. The rooms are small like most London hotels but in fairly good order...

Good location situated halfway between Victoria Station and Pimlico underground. Stayed in triple room that was good value and had a fabulous bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful. However, the breakfast was extremely disappointing. No fresh fruit only tinned. Very little choice: toast or croissant. Such a shame as let hotel down.

Really close to Victoria Station (10 minutes, more or less). Great bed, accommodations and very helpful staff. It's only a 5 minutes walk from Pimlico Station. The internet it's really slow but that's the only con I can find on the Hotel.

Sidney Hotel is very convenient for Central London - with excellent professional & friendly staff. The quality of service is excellent, with wonderful breakfasts. The rooms are slightly small, but no different from so-many other London hotels - making an visitor's stay OK.

Do not book this hotel! I attempted to make a booking through the website, but my reservation was declined because a staff member swapped credit cards with another guest. The hotel charged me 39.00 GBP but they said my card was declined, which is completely illogical. After numerous emails, and evidence from my bank statement, the hotel final accepted responsibility...

We arrived at the Sidney Hotel early evening to be greeted by the very cheery Christian. We went to our room which was on the ground floor behind the bar near one of the Hotel lifts. The room was very clean, the ensuite modern and immaculate. The room had all we needed , tea facilities, hairdryer etc but no view...

Having stayed in some very very small hotel rooms in London before this was a more than adequate hotel. A little of the beaten track but only three tube stops from Picadilly this was a perfect base to explore London from and daughter and I soon became subway experts. Very quiet road and safe to catch the tube and walk...

It was not a great experience. Our "double" in room 304 was a 3/4 and the whole room was about 6 feet square. There was an horrendous 80s fleecey blanket on the bed and the decor was ancient. On the plus side, the bathroom was lovely and the water was hot. But brekky was cornflakes or bread and the whole...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
