We stayed overnight on Good Friday in the executive double room and yet again this hotel did not disappoint. We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and never had any problems or issues. This hotel treats you like humans and not a number. The location is perfect and the service is excellent. Would not stay in any other...

Of course affordable is relative to other hotels in the area, so for some it may still be expensive. But this is a very nice hotel, in Jermyn Street minutes walk from Picadilly Circus, the Theatre district, Soho, etc. the hotel rooms are smaller but typical for Europe. They are clean, and well furnished. The hotel is not your typical...

Dear globetraveleler, Thank you very much for your great review and for letting other travellers know about our great location and how close we are to so many of London's attractions but set back one road so that you have a place to go back to and relax. Our main reasons for returning to the Cavendish are its perfect location for visiting just about anywhere in the West End and the City and the fact that, by London standards, it is very reasonably priced. However, the service is variable, though very good at breakfast, and we were not entirely convinced about the room cleaning nor the sound proofing....

Dear acko_10, Than you very much for your review and feedback about your stay. I am delighted to hear that you like the location and that you will return, however disappointed that you felt the service was not consistent especially on the Housekeeping side. It would be very useful if you could let me know the room number that you...

I have stayed at the Cavendish numerous times and generally I love it. However, despite giving it 4 stars it has a few issues and I almost gave it only 3. The rooms are very good, albeit small. However, the service is patchy at the front desk and at breakfast. Breakfast in particular needs sorting out, especially since it costs...

Lovely historic hotel situated in the heart of the West End/Mayfair. A stone’s throw from Piccadilly and Green Park, so an ideal base for tourists who like the finer things in life. I stayed here for one night whilst on business. I arrived late at around 10pm, but was warmly greeted by the receptionist (Simona) and was told that because...

Staying in St. James's

Neighbourhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
