What will you put up with for a (sort of) cheap hotel in London? No lift, but LOTS of stairs. The heat was off until I complained at the desk. Then they turned it on. It was off again the next day. Cramped room and bathroom; had to climb over the toilet to get to the sink. But the included...

No lift, very steep stairs, I was out of breath by the time we reached our room! Room was ok, very clean but quite small. However, the bathroom was tiny and when having a shower I kept banging my elbow, it was like a portacabin loo! The water went from boiling hot to freezing cold, to boiling hot again! We...

This hotel is great for short stay. We had 3 rooms all with refrigerator and microwave oven. There is no on site restaurant so this enabled to eat what and when. The polish receptionist was great sorting room move when required. Had problem with room 41 shower making constant noise. Bathrooms could do with updating. Continental breakfast included but breakfast...

After booking based on the excellent price, I read previous reviews and was concerned that I may have made a mistake booking here. Location is great - three minutes from the tube with lots of local shops if you need to pop out for something. The room and breakfast were both basic but perfectly adequate and good value. However, in...

I booked this hotel mistakenly for a night before than the actual date I desired to stay via laterooms. Arrived London on Wednesday and called the hotel around 6pm to see what time is the latest check in would be. They said my reservation was for the night before! I mentioned that the booking was made the night before around...

My girlfriend tried to stay here the other night, it was damp, dirty, with ripped headboards. The hotel felt unsafe with men hanging around outside and there was no dead lock on either Room. She was given an alternative Room that was no better so left and booked into the Chiswick Premier Inn, at only £62 with £10 for parking...
