The rooms and bathrooms are small. But, that is in my experience, the London standard. We stayed for three nights. On the first night we had a room in the basement with a noisy fan. We complained and got another room without any problems. They even gave us a free breakfast while we waited to get the new room. Both...

The rooms were quite small (Hey, this is England after all) but it didn't bother us; there were also a TV and supplies for making tea in the rooms. Beds were comfortable. Some noise could be heard through the door and windows but it didn't disturb too much. They had a free WiFi connection which was quick and worked at...

2 out of our 4 nights in this hotel we had very little sleep because of the noise coming from the room next to us, through no fault of the other guests at all. We could hear every step the guests next door took, conversations, turning on and off lights and we even heard every time they got a text...

We stayed here as we were overbooked at the Central Park. We were offered a taxi but elected to walk. ( We were also given comp breakfast tickets for C.P. as an apology by C.P. so full mrks there, but then again it was their cock up ). Anyhow, very pleasant reception area, not that this always or necessarily denotes...

Great location, close to Paddington station. Room small but big enough for what we wanted. Stayed in basement room. This was quiet from any other room noise apart from in the mornings when the nearby store rooms were being used by cleaning staff. Temperature okay in room as it had air con if it got too hot. The bed was...

Originally we were booked into The Central Park Hotel, but were given a small basement room with no window and a tiny bathroom, sparsely furnished and generally claustrophobic. We asked to be moved , but told they had no more rooms, so we were moved to The Royal Eagle which I believe is part of the same chain of hotels....

I was at first put off by other reviews, however when we checked in the staff were friendly and helpful, we had a basement room, which was lovely and spacious, it was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the hotel was in a good location. We chose not to have breakfast as the hotel did not...

Friendly staff, nice foyer area. Rooms seem to be really small, ours was in the basement and it was actually difficult to fit two people in there. We checked in around 2am and discovered that the floors were not cleaned at all (we found lots of dust and someone elses contact lens..) but that was promptly taken care of when...
