The Park City Grand Plaza Kensington Hotel garners mixed reviews, with its prime location often being lauded due to its quiet yet convenient proximity to transport and local establishments. While the hotel's atmosphere and cleanliness receive praise, particularly for the well-appointed rooms with spacious tubs, guests have called out issues with noise and dated decor. Opinions on the hotel's value and amenities vary, with criticisms focusing on the breakfast quality and the shisha lounge's aroma. Service feedback also varies, with helpfulness being as commonly reported as unresponsiveness.

Stayed for one night on the fourth floor at the back of the hotel overlooking Sainburys car park.
Booking in at reception was easy with helpful and polite staff, eft out luggage at the hotel so that we could explore London without them in tow.
The room was a good size and very clean.
The only down side of this stay was the room temperature which was boiling when we entered , the room had 3 windows but even with these left open all afternoon and evening the room was still very hot when we returned and the air con unit would not blow cool air .
Had the room temperature been controllable then i would this hotel again.

We have used the Park City virtually exclusively since we first started visiting London from Australia about 20 years ago - the reason is simply that it is a very well presented hotel in a very nice area [Lexham Gardens/Kensingtin/ Earls Court] and is within walking distance of 3 Underground stations. We have had a favourite room since our very first stay at the hotel and each time we have been back, the hotel reception have very kindly accommodated us in that same room. The staff are very efficient and provided assistance in a number of areas during our stay. The rooms were efficiently cleaned each day and a Continental or cooked breakfast are available from the downstairs restaurant which features an Asian influenced menu for dinner. I could not recommend this hotel more highly and have over the years, referred friends travelling to London, all whom have agreed that it is a great hotel at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended

Stayed here numerous times in the past but this hotel is no longer what it used to be. Staff were less than friendly on arrival. Had to struggle up the stairs with a suitcase on arrival. There was no doorman or any offer of assistance. Supplies in the room were only for one person and had to ask for extra tea bags, biscuits and milk daily. The mattress was tired. Towels and linen were of a lower standard. It seems that cost cutting has taken place. Good but not great.

This hotel is good in overall. It has some restaurants/fast food within walking distance, and the nearest underground stations are Gloucester Road and Earl's Court (both approx. 7-10 minutes away by walking distance), so its location is not that bad. There's also a Sainsbury supermarket really close-by, while the The Bupa Cromwell hospital is right next to the hotel, in addition to a Boots pharmacy near the Gloucester Road underground station. The rooms were comfortable (we booked the Plaza Executive Double) and the WiFi was good as well, but not all rooms had equivalent temperature, as my room for example was cool due to having two windows that allowed sufficient air flow, but my family stayed in a room that was too warm due to having only one window that didn't provide sufficient air flow. Also, the room floor was too noisy when you'd walk, which means that walking-in at someone sleeping at night might cause them to wake up. The hotel breakfast was simple, but it did not have much varieties. The staff were kind and tried to help as much as they can, but unfortunately they did not seem to have much knowledge about the places that we wanted to visit in and around London, and even when they did have knowledge it just didn't seem to be sufficient. They did not have much experience as well when it came to helping one of my family members to find a suitable hospital soon enough, as she was very sick and needed immediate treatment. Basically, they did try to help, but it was not enough. In conclusion, the hotel is good and its location is not that bad, the staff are kind but they could improve, while the rooms were nice and comfy but they could be even better.

Loved this hotel, the location is perfect in a quiet street yet minutes from attractions, walking distance to all the main museums, and tube stations and bus stops. Walking distance to Knightsbridge and Oxford street with its major stores , Harrods, Selfridges and Libertys .

Rooms serviced daily, staff friendly and helpful . Has its own Malaysian cuisine restaurant which was lovely only drawback was a very limited menu . Lovely weeks stay

This hotel was perfect for us, around the corner was the local grocery store, a great place to eat at the corner of the street, Uber knew the address and around another corner was a private hospital. The hotel itself has four floors with about five rooms on each floor. Our room was the right size, housekeeping came in each day, replaces towels and made up bed. We had a fridge which was filled with items from the store. We loved it.

I stayed here for my birthday trip as the Crown Plaza was booked, which I where I normally stay. The hotel is extremely dated and smells old. The breakfast was not worth the add it, greasy hashbrowns and sausages, frozen pastries etc.
My boyfriend mentioned to the staff that we were celebrating my birthday and they left a card in the room.
The only redeeming factor was that I was able to send a package to the hotel with some new boots ahead of the trip.
I would not recommend this hotel, especially for an extended stay.
It’s close to the Gloucester station.

I arrived early and the female receptionist told me that my room wasn't available for another 90 minutes or so but another receptionist came over to assist. He found me an upgrade and the room was amazing.

I didn't eat or drink at the hotel so can't comment there but everything else was excellent

Booked in for a business trip and got a very generous ground floor room overlooking the street. Staff very friendly on check in, room was very clean with lots of toiletries, bottled water, tea, coffee etc included. Overall the room was very comfortable and spacious, and the location is superb, however the walls seemed to be very thin and could clearly hear the guests next door chatting until after midnight. I was also woken up at about 4.30 by men chatting outside the room loudly. I would stay again as I thought it was good value for money at €145, but perhaps with earplugs as the corrider outside seemed to be high traffic.

Are you looking for a hotel with paper thin walls, just 2 plug sockets and an ironing board fit for a toddler? Then welcome to Park City Grand Plaza Kensington Hotel!

I was not pleased really, for London this hotel was not particularly expensive but the room was just missing everything that you’d expect. Two usable plug sockets for a double room is not enough! Even the lamp in the corner of the room was plug socket-less, so there is just a completely unusable lamp in the room because you can’t plug it in. The air conditioning was out of use for our entire stay…. London in June with no air con, in a second floor room is basically a greenhouse.

The walls are so thin I was thrilled to be listening to the customer in the next rooms alarm going off at 6am everyday as well as, can you even believe it, the ding of the lift every time it reached our floor!!!

Pros of this hotel; decent clean and refreshed each day, nice shower and bathroom, reasonable distance from a couple of underground stations.

I don’t think I’d stay here again to be honest. A more sincere apology about the air conditioning being broken would have gone a long way.

Tons of restaurants and pubs nearby and the Tube is a 5 minute walk. We took the Tube back to the airport. Super easy.
