I wanted to stay here in Guilford Street, London, as I used to live next door in a flatshare in my youth and actually got married from there. So I thought it would be a thrill to be actually staying there. But - it was very disappointing. The room was tiny which is OK for one person, but the carpet...

The only good things are staff and location. Everything else is bad. Within 10 minutes you close the windows, the rooms will be filled with a very awful smell. The toilet and bathroom both together have been fitted into a literal 2 feet by 2 feet space. The room shelves have dust on them. One of the cups in my...

On arrival we see the same sign as others, go to the hotel next door for a key, first impressions was I did not feel good, went to reception and got our key and went to our room, front door key and room key did not work easy. We decided to make the most of the situation. We soon went...

We actually made a reservation with Grenville Hotel, having arrived there, there was a sign to go next door to Guilford Hotel. Having spent all day at Great Ormond Street with my Grandson was really tired so got the key to a ROOM in the Guilford Hotel without questioning the fact about Grenville Hotel. The room smelt, the toilet was...

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. Other than that the place is dirty, the staff are rude and ignorant and the room I stayed in was mainly made up of mould. Oh and the door didn't lock properly and could easily have been smashed in so it wasn't very safe, Avoid!!!

they were very nice people in terms of serving others. However, I experiended a cold room during night, and problems with warm water when I needed a shower. Overall it seems owners needed to cut costs of operation,

You can't just walk straight in to this hotel on arrival, you have to ring a bell. It took ages for someone to answer the door. When I checked it it was very impersonal, I was just given a form and a pen and once I'd completed the form I was given a key. I wasn't told what room I...
