Our room stank of cigarettes. The staff were not helpful and unfriendly. The smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag. The beds were slightly uncomfortably at best. The tablecloths in the dining room were yellowed & frayed. We payed a lot of money for this as it was conveniently located for the purpose of our visit. I will never...

Do not book this hotel. Filthy, horrible. There are no redeeming features. I spent 3 hrs looking for any other hotel under £200 but there isn't one so roughing it. I don't believe it has ever been cleaned. Dirty carpet, dirty bedside table, cobwebs, dust, dirt.

Despite being greeted by a really helpful an lovely staff member, the rooms were unsettlingly dusty and dirty. There were no proper sheets leaving me waking up on a bare mattress. Wifi is £2.50 per day per device. Good location but not worth it.

I stayed here due to having difficulty in finding a cheapish hotel at short notice and chose this particular place as a colleague recommended it. All I can say is she obviously didn't get allocated a basement room! I'm sure the larger rooms upstairs are very pleasant but the hotel owner would benefit from closing the basement level for a...

I was basically there for just one night as a place to lay my head and chose it because of its location near all the clubs and bars of central London. I didn't like that you had to constantly leave your key into reception. The room was small but wasn't bothered as it was a puffy pillow so could sleep...

We were having trouble finding a hotel where our teen age son could stay with us in one room. This was listed in Fodor's travel guide so w assumed it was ok. It was a twisty narrow staircase to third floor, with no fire escape. Three twin beds in one room. Only one of us could open our suitcase at...

Bearing in mind a lot of London Hotels in Theatre District are around £250.00 + for a double room to pay £139.00 you get what you pay for. We stayed in a room with 1 double and 1 single bed, 2 mirrors that were actually filthy and a tiny Bathroom/Shower which was about the size of a standard shower cubicle....

Only the situation is available. It is my Worst stay in a hotel. Dirty room (the day of my departure, I moved the nightstand and I found many cigarette butts, I'm not a smoker) bad smell ( obliged to keep the window open), noisy ( you hear all the people using the wood stairs, all the closing doors, the TV...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
