This is more like temporary accommodation for people waiting for permanent social housing. We expected basic ( for the price we paid) but not shabby, dated ,falling apart and mouldy. It was fairly close to where we were going and we wanted a five bedded one room ,so as this came up with two stars ,with OK reviews back in April when we...

nothing to say : one of the smallest shower I saw. Room : ok. but we decided to stay one more night (and didn't want to find another hotel at last minute) - we told the "manager" but at midnight we were awakened to pay for the room - without waiting for the next morning.

I stayed in mid July in this "hotel" and my experience was terrible. I was greeted by a gruff elderly man at reception who seemed to be put out by the fact that guests were staying in the hotel. A slightly nicer younger man showed me to my room which was actually in another building a few doors down from...

I checked into this hotel as it had been booked through my employer as it was close to a course I was attending at goodenough college. Having read the previous reviews i was nervous but tried to remain open minded. Please, please, please take notice of every negative review regarding this hotel. On check in it was apparent that this...

Pour les francophones, je reécris cette critique ci-dessous l'une en anglais. This is my first Trip Advisor review. I felt compelled to write it to counter the many, many reviews describing this place as somewhere between Fawlty Towers and a municipal dump. The Guildford hotel is fine. It's clean, comfortable and extremely well located (about 10 mins walk to Russell...

Honestly I'm not sure this place is even safe! The roof of my room was all cracked. Starting at the beginning......I stayed 3 nights. The room is tiny. The "bathroom" is a tiny cupboard I had to leave the door open when I used it to fit in. Not gonna lie I didn't have a shower my whole stay....I would...

We had the unfortunate experience if staying there lastnight....eek! Please, for £110, go somewhere else....fast! For a start we we were in the building next to the guilford which was where we had booked in advance, although they both looked as run down as the other! We were given a bunch of keys and shown to our hovel! A tiny...

Our room stank of cigarettes. The staff were not helpful and unfriendly. The smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag. The beds were slightly uncomfortably at best. The tablecloths in the dining room were yellowed & frayed. We payed a lot of money for this as it was conveniently located for the purpose of our visit. I will never...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
