This hotel has a strong South African flavour to it. We went there only for the Leopard Bar and had a great time. We had brilliant chardonnay and specialist gin and tonics. The best part of the evening was the live music. Wish they went slower on the leopard print, though.

We stayed at the Montague for four nights and it was the best sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. When we arrived we got a pleasant surprise that we’d been upgraded to a king size room. Our room had an interesting design where the bathroom is next to the entry door, but the rest of the room is a...

I have only stayed one night. I do prefer smaller hotels like this one with a charming environment. Nice clean rooms. This hotel is in a great location near British museum ( 3 min walk to the main entrance). 4-5 min walk to the tube Russel Square. Many good restaurants within 10-15 min walk. Polite and professional people. Everything is...

Room was old, but clean and very well presented. Service was incredibly attentive - asked for some extra water late at night while I was working and they brought along extra tea and cookies for me! Location is perfect, close to the tube station and also walking distance to main attractions if you're up for that. Despite this, super quiet,...

My wife and I celebrated our 50th birthdays and for a treat we thought we would rebook another visit to this great hotel. We had a 2 night stay and enjoyed the ambience of the newly African designed bar including it's fairly priced food and drink for a five star hotel. We had eaten in the restaurant previously which was...

What makes this hotel really special though are the staff - they're attentive and friendly, and always available to help. We had a fantastic couple of days and would definitely book again. Thanks to all the staff who...
