This hotel is very traditional in its decor, so don't expect anything too modern. It's like stepping into the early 1900's in London. The rooms are also traditional, which means very small, but they changed us into a bigger room right away (ask for a room on the first floor!) and it was perfect. The staff are all very friendly...

My wife and I were recently in London to see a couple of shows and we stayed at the Montague on the Gardens. This was our third visit to this hotel and having stayed in other hotels in London ,some indifferent , and many more expensive ,the Montague does everything it says . The staff are out of this world...

We had a birthday gift for 2 people to attend a South African wine tasting at this hotel. We arrived before our friends and was very warmly welcomed, offered a drink and a seat in a very comfortable lounge. When our friends arrived we we're shown into a piano bar which was absolutely lovely. We had a fab waiter who...

We just left today and I couldn't not immediately write a review. Outside of the rooms being comfy enough for our small family of 3 (daughter is 7 months old) what really makes this hotel great is the staff. Every member of the staff treated us as if we were family. One night at dinner they even held our daughter...

This hotel is absolutely perfect for staying with animals. It's no additional charge and upon arrival the room already had a litter box and even a small scratching post. The room itself, even though I got the cheapest one, actually had two stories with a separate bedroom area. All my additional requests were flawlessly fulfilled - the hotel received a...

A group of us stayed here for a birthday on the Bloomsbury package. The first appearance is of a beautiful reception area and being greeted and assisted by the team. Our room was on the front but there was double glazing. It was well equipped and the huge bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast, used the bar a few...

Held a meeting with 60 people at the Montague last week. Lovely hotel and great service. My special thanks go to Mohamed who looked after me so well. Nothing was a chore! The meeting room has been refurbished and, whilst small, has a bit of a wow factor. All very comfortable. Thanks very much Mohamed!

Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum.
