We stayed here for one night as I was celebrating my birthday with family. We booked direct with the Hotel as had read all the good reports and it was convenient as this was close for our daughter, her husband and our son to travel to. We booked the garden room No 7 and on first reflection it was really...

The hotel is opposite the Wandsworth Town overground Station and hence real easy to start and finish your travels to Central London via the Vauxhall or Waterloo underground. The Hotel is deceiving as from the outside it looks like a Pub / Restaurant but attached to this is a very professional Hotel with really nice comfortable rooms that have excellent...

Hi Chrizbo Thank you very much for your review. I am glad enjoyed your stay with us. The tube strike causes so many problems, especially for those not used to London, but I am delighted the staff were able to help you and I hope the strike didn't cause you to much hassle. I promised myself I would have Sunday Lunch here - and guess what - IT'S F'ING GREAT - just perfect, the attention to detail - you can see this as they have an open kitchen and the fact (which we learnt on our visit) that you can have Sunday lunch at lunchtime, at 2.00pm at 3.00pm in fact at all...

Hi Simon--Newton Thank you very much for your review - it did make me chuckle. I am delighted you enjoyed your Sunday Roast. We are very proud of them, and our Chef Immy, who created the dishes. We hope to see you enjoying other dishes in our soon to be newly decorated restaurant in the future.

The Alma was a very welcome place to arrive at after a long trip from NZ. I stayed for 4 nights in late June and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was in a lovely room upstairs and enjoyed a comfortable bed, free ( but not great) Internet in the room and totally looked forward to the great breakfasts each morning. Daughter...

Doesn't look much from the outside but like the TARDIS it opens up into a great bar serving Youngs ales and others, plus pretty decent bar snacks. Through the bar to the lively restaurant where we had breakfast after our overnight stop. And what a good choice. All the usual cereals pastries and full English plus delicious choice of muffins...

It's many years since I've been to The Alma and it's been transformed in that time. Our room, no 15, was small but well equipped and charmingly decorated. We didn't dine in the restaurant in the evening but the breakfast was excellent - both the full English and the pancakes. Parking outside in the street at the week-end was easy...

Had a beautiful, large, comfortable room overlooking a quiet courtyard. The windows open - which is lovely. The bedding amazing , nice coffee machine - fresh breakfast although I few more interesting healthy options would be a nice addition. Will definitely stay again.
