The welcome was warm. The facilities including the common parts and the en siute room I stayed in was well maintained and spotless. The breakfast was self service and more than adequate. Next time I am in London I will if a room is avail;able will stay at St Monica House and will recommend to family and friends without reservation.

The sisters are very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and the breakfast fine. Close to the Tube and bus right outside the door. With an oystercard this place is perfect. It is not a hotel, but a very nice guesthouse. I would like to come back!

I booked a room here for my mum for 9 nights. It was so affordable and she enjoyed it immensely! The staff is welcoming and hospitable, and the place itself is clean, simple and perfect for a getaway.

The 4 Augustinian nuns at this home from home accommodation were so warm, hospitable and helpful during our stay with them earlier this month. Although our room faced Clapham Road, it was clean and the price very economical. We asked for and had a bathroom attached to the room. We loved being able to attend Mass every morning and then...

Comfortable, clean accommodation. All the Sisters are very helpful and friendly. Beautiful Chapel where Mass is celebrated daily and guests may attend with the nuns. Continental breakfast is provided daily. Rooms can be booked with or without private facilities; there are many additional bathrooms and toilets. My sister and I have enjoyed our stays there.

London is an adventure. So vibrant and cosmopolitan. We stayed with the Augustinian nuns on Clapham Road. Our room was small but was very satisfactory. It was spotless which is a priority for us. Breakfast was nutritious and satisfying. And very economical. We were only a few minutes walk for the underground and bus. The nuns are charming and helpful....

The four sisters at St Monica's house during our stay were all very welcoming, accommodating and created a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. This accommodation is great value for money, especially when comparing prices to other accommodation options in London. I stayed in a twin room with my own private bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. The rooms are cleaned on a...

I thought I'd take my son for a holiday to London, I dealed with the sister by phone, she being Maltese like me. We spent nine nights, she didn't charge me on that day, I was charged a couple of days later. My son and I ,used only one room, when I went to pay her for one room, she...

Yes, it's true, London is an expensive place and the rate of St Monica's guesthouse are more than acceptable. What is not acceptable is the fact that during my stay for work (2 weeks), I was ensured I would have a double room with a private bathroom - but I ended up with a tiny single room with the bathroom...

We opted to stay at this place since we know several friends of ours who stayed there and were never disappointed. We arrived there late in the evening, but were greeted by the sisters and helped in with all our things until we settled down in our room. The room was a cosy one with comfortable beds and a good...
