Lovely, lovely place to visit! Host Meomi (sp?) warm and welcoming. Good base to walk to museums, underground, restaurants. Tasty breakfast in bright and pretty conservatory, quaint secret garden inhabited my Ming Ming and his ladies! We will return here for our London trips!

This was my sister & I's fourth visit over the years to Aster House. It is so reliable for cleanliness and service. True the rooms are small, but everything else is admirable. The host is wonderful, breakfast is awesome and the location in South Kensington...More

This is the house that was given to the Duke of Wellington in appreciation for his victory over Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. It's an excellent example of the architectural style of that time, and it's visually impressive. Take the Tube to...More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
