But the Draycott is a superb hotel with a superb staff. It is such a wonderful place to stay that you do not want to leave the hotel. I do not mean you do not want to check out, which is true enough. I mean you do not want to leave the hotel while you are staying there, since the...

The staff here are exceptional. The little things, like a complimentary glass of champagne when you come home from a very long day of meetings is a wonderful touch. I look forward to coming back again!

I booked the hotel on short notice through its website, basically three hours before I was due to check in, due to a change of plans in my business trip to another city in England. With less than 24 hours to spend and no work to do, I wanted a hotel near a shopping area that would help to avoid...

Very good location; close to trains, buses, shopping and the hotel is a lovely townhouse. There are great cafes on King Road, in particular Gail's bakery, Dri Dri gelato in the Chelsea Market are all walking distance. You can get very coffee and chai latte at Cuisine de Bar and Gail's - all walking distance

My husband and I just spent a lovely weekend at this hotel. We arrived on Friday evening and left at midday on Monday. Throughout our stay, we were very impressed with the service, amenities and overall ambience. The hot chocolate in the evenings was a nice touch. The rooms are spacious and the sitting area with fireplace is lovely. I...

As on our two previous visits, the Draycott hotel continues to excel. On arrival the reception was very friendly and the room at the back with access to the garden very comfortable and spacious. The large bathroom was especially delightful with two hand basins, separate shower and extra long bath.

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable night at the Draycott last month. The hotel is in a lovely, quiet location but close enough to Sloane Square and its surroundings to not be isolated. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful but the service remains unobtrusive. Our room, Vivien Leigh, overlooked the gardens which was delightful on a warm...

Very well located for good shopping/cool bars/nice restaurants, warm and efficient staff...loved the big room we had, more space than you expect to find in a major European city. Breakfast was quite good. Concierge advice was spot on. Beautiful back yard/mini-park.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
