I recently had a meal at Kaspars at the Savoy hotel. My dining experience can not be faulted. The service was excellent in luxurious surroundings . The food served was delicious and well presented. I would recommend a visit and hope to return to sample more from the menu.

Elegant lobby and public areas. Excellent staff. The room was nicely appointed and, for London, spacious except the bathroom which was tiny. Surprisingly there was nowhere to place our toiletries except a narrow glass shelf above the sink, the top of the toilet and the floor. I asked that a table be brought in and on day 2 the problem...

The Savoy is a very traditional English hotel with a convenient location near the Trafalgar Square and the Thames. The room was tidy, as the hotel as well, and bathroom spacious. The staff was very attentive. However regarding the price tag per night I don't think at the moment we got value for the money. The breakfast, which you order...

Ok where do I start! This really is how a 5* hotel should be run. Booked a two night stay on Sunday 4th of December and requested an upgrade to a Junior Suite room. Arranged with the concierge to collect us from Liverpool Street station in the Savoy Rolls Royce. The driver phoned me just as we pulled into the...

It really does. Beautiful grand hotel. Wonderful service. Fantastic location. Really nothing left to be desired. The banks of the river are really the best to be at. And the river view rooms are excellent. We were upgraded this time to a river facing suite. Wonderful. The night views of the river cant be beat. Restaurants are great too. Everyone...

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
