There is no doubt the experience of staying at this hotel is wonderful, from the manned oldest lift in Britain to the unique candelabra in the dining room. There is one thing, however, and that is the fact the hotel is 'taking the mickey' with breakfast prices. Annoyingly some reviews say breakfast was included. Coffee is £7.50. Eggs Royale or...

What a magical hotel stay in London. I stayed here thanks to my employer for a long weekend stay. From front desk, doorman, concierge, room attendants, to elevator attendant, this team knows how to deliver excellent customer service. Beautiful building with keen attention in merging lovely decor with function. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The hotel is at the best location for shopping very near Bond street where all the super brands are, and very near Bond subway station. The reading room restaurant is excellent and it also has an excellent vegan menu. The staff are very friendly and they did their homework to recollect our preferences from our last visit. The last two...

Amazing staff, amazing location and amazing surroundings. We stayed here for a special occasion and it was completely wonderful! Yes it is expensive but you can see what you're paying for. Everything was exceptional. The meal at FERA was a brilliant experience too!

We had a fantastic experience. The location is the best in London by far, and the breakfast, tea, room service all are amazing. Everyone always went the extra mile, and we will definitively come back.

There is a reason why Claridge's is considered one of the best hotels in the world. The service is exceptional and the history of the rooms remarkable. Everyone should stay there at least once in their life.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
