We stayed at the Ridgemount for 4 nights and would gladly do so again! The price and location can't be beat and the Rees family is so incredibly nice. Our room was small and there was some street noise, but the double paned windows help. There is a lounge with free coffee and internet. The breakfast is fantastic. The hotel...

Just returned from 9 days at the Ridgemount. Our family has stayed here many times. Great place for a family of 4 (young adult children). Location is excellent for the Tube, and with buses just outside the door. Owner family extremely knowledgeable about London and surroundings and very helpful with questions, directions, etc. Price is great for a budget stay,...

I picked this hotel because of its location and reviews. No disappointments here! The location was perfect, right down the street from the British Museum and near the Euston tube stop. I took the tube from Heathrow and hiked a mere two blocks. The rooms are small and the beds are narrow, but the place is spotlessly clean. The Rees family...

I booked this hotel because of its close proximity to the St Pancras Train Station. It is within walking distance and is a very nice hotel. The rooms are of adequate size and they are very clean. The beds are comfortable and the breakfasts are great. The owner bent over backwards to make sure our stay was a favorable one....

As I review all aspects of the service, facilities, location and value of the Ridgemount Hotel, I have decided it is the best accommodation I have stayed in. The family who run this hotel offer great hospitality such as invaluable tourist advice, free internet access and will do clothes washing for guests (a fee for this service, but think of...

We stayed 4 nights mid November and found it and the staff just as described on Tripadviser....very good. The bedroom was smaller than expected, ensuite very good but pillows like sandbags ! I put the chair on top of the hanging space to increase the floor area to make moving between suitcases easier. The Rees family go out of their...

It was first time to visit this hotel. I decided to choose this hotel by TripAdvisors reviews, and it was all right! Breakfast are very nice every morning, especially hospitality was so great and very comfortable for me. It was very warm house in London. There is PC in the lounge. Besides, when nobody is using, it is possible to...

This isnt a bad hotel for the money ,it just depends on how much comfort you want, for how much you are prepared to pay. The worst thing is the beds are very small!!,and the decor is very dated. That said the staff are more than welcoming ,and the hotell is kept very clean,it just needs dragged out of the 70s....

We have stayed at the Ridgemount Hotel in London for our last three visits to London. We find the rooms are comfortable, some are small but when in London you really only sleep in the room. My husband and I have stayed there for two visits and this October we took our daughters and enjoyed a large room. We have...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
