This is our favourite place to stay in London. We stay every couple of months and it is always clean, the staff are always friendly and the food and drink are always excellent. I know it is boring with so many places to stay in London, but really we have no reason to change

it's great that the hotel is just located next to green park and only 10-15mins walk to most central area. just that the hotel does not look like a 5 star hotel but a 4 star instead as the room and corridor are so old. The tv is so small and not located in the front of the bed(it's located...

Me and my partner stayed at the Athenaeum Hotel this weekend and had a great time. The hotel is located in a great part of London with only a short walk to many great attractions! The customer service was excellent too and the room was lovely... Will be staying again!

I spent one night in a gorgeous room, weel a suite with 3 rooms to be more precise. I was lucky to book one room in the 10th floor. It was great with 3 rooms (I only used one of course), one living room and a beautiful terrace with great views over Hyde Park. I recommend this hotel if you...

A theme of the hotel is your home in London. This was our second stay and having staff (including Jim on the door) use our name from the moment we arrived made it feel like this. The rooms are not big but are very comfortable and include Netpresso machine, music centre, and a decent bathroom. I am sure the rooms...

I stayed here at the end of June, I was attending an event at Hyde Park so the hotel was well located for that. I managed to get it as a deal through lastminute.com's Top Secret Hotels (this hotel describes itself there as "Top West End Hotel"). Even though it was booked that way, the cost of the room was...

I usually stay at the London Bridge Hotel or The Grange St. Paul's and fancied a change. Absolutely delighted that I did. Checked in Monday 10th August - delightful young guy on reception made me feel very welcome. Loved my room although the shower was so powerful it flooded the bathroom a bit! Comfy beds and well equipped room. Charming...

We have stayed here for years and it just gets better. A five star hotel with a family feeling. Everyone knows your name and is ready to help in any way possible. The room was lovely and spacious with cleanliness a high priority. Location perfect, what else can one look for. We have been here for family occasions and just...

Even with a discount this hotel is expensive but it is rather lovely insofar as it has a family feel to it, staff are excellent, very accommodating. Especially the concierge who went out of his way to assist on what was a very busy day for bike riders in London. Restaurant was lovely although we were a little disappointed in...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
