My mother and I came to London to celebrate our friend's 80th birthday, and we chose to stay at Langham Hotel. It was ideal, because it is close to St. Pancras Station and only a few minutes walk from Wigmore Hall, where the concert and birthday celebration was to take place. When we arrived at the hotel they helped us...

We had a great stay here for our 20th wedding Anniversary, we were upgraded to a better room and i could not fault the room or service we got from all members of staff. I would say that the menu in the palm court could have been better, more extensive choices would have been nice. Breakfast was ok, but again,...

Welcome and departure efficient, courteous and a pleasure. Also safe keeping of bags (we left after check out so could do activities before returning home) was impressive. Hotel information and history of hotel left in room + all the attention to detail was usual. Unfortunately we had an older room that could do with refurbishment hence room quality down grade....

This is the 5th time staying at this wonderful hotel. Yes it is in an excellent location, but The Langham is much more than that. If you want elegance, exceptional service, good food and much more, then you must stay here. My lingering memory as ever in addition to that already mentioned, is the beautiful aroma that lingers in the...

Beautifully located hotel with a long history and tradition, nevertheless it is very up-to-date. We had a superb room with good quality beds. The breakfast is top quality. Staff are very kind and polite.

"Welcome back, Sir". That's how I like it. Personal, stately, warm and efficient. A wonderful hotel, a stone's throw from Oxford Circus and directly opposite the BBC in New Broadcasting House. Couldn't be better situated. Great comfy rooms with big fluffy beds and well stocked bathrooms. An absolute gem of a bar - expensive but lovely - and of course...

My wife and I spent two glorious nights here as a Christmas treat to ourselves. We had a deluxe room which is very well appointed with a huge bathroom. The room is spotless as you would expect. Excellent amenities from the chuan spa are used in the bathroom. We ate out the first night and my wife was taken ill...

Stayed there - very nice folks - they make you feel very comfortable. Breakfast is pretty decent. However the dinner that they served for vegetarians was not good at all. I request that every hotel should start catering to vegetarians. If nothing else serving veg burgers (readily available) would be a great start.

The service and hotel were great. We enjoyed our breakfast that was included with our room. Our room was small but the bedding, bathroom, and service was great. We really like the location. We walked almost everywhere.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
