We stayed for two nights, the room was comfortable, clean and quiet.
Full english breakfast was delicious.
Good location with lots to see and do.
Could find no faults and will definitely stay there again.
On arrival was greeted by a surly female member of staff, just after 3pm & given room 527.
On entry to the room there was a very strong air freshner odour, which immediately raised suspicions. The carpet had faint dirty patches & was generally not...More

I recently stayed at the Travelodge Waterloo.
Location: great, just down waterloo road from waterloo station. I've stayed a few times and it's well placed for accessing central London.
Arrival and check in: centrally located check in desk on the ground floor, busy but prompt...More
I stayed on 8th floor. While everything else was excellent, the water pressure in the shower was abysmal and the 'jet' aimed too high. I don't normally need a shower cap when taking a shower but I had to stay so long to get the...More

Me and my partner have just been here for a little trip, we stayed for two nights with breakfast. The hotel is a ten minute walk from Waterloo train and Underground station, so is perfectly situated travel wise, also it's about a 20 minutes walk...More

As a guess I would say a fifteen to twenty minute walk away as you would need to go back to Waterloo station about 10 minutes and then get across the river via Waterloo bridge and then along the embankment so you are facing the London Eye across the river. I suspect it would be very crowded and I think its ticket only to see the fireworks from the embankment.

You really need to book through the hotel's website to find the total price for your stay. Hotels have weird magical pricing system whereby the final cost bears little relation to any published nightly rate or to the number of nights stayed.
I don't know if other countries do the same (I'm sure some do), but the final price is dependant on how much the hotel thinks those particular nights are worth to them and how long you are staying. Don't expect it to be as logical as taking the advertised nightly rate and multiplying by the number of nights.
The good news is that you can get the price by following the online booking form through and then make a decision at the last minute to not confirm your booking if you think the total is too high.
Your other questions are probably best answered by the hotel themselves, although I can tell you that you need to head for Waterloo station, probably the Underground part of it. Then find the Waterloo Road exit (there are several exits), cross the road and turn right to head SE towards the hotel. Google Maps is worth checking on.
