This was our fourth or fifth visit to The Arch. It is a very well situated hotel in a quiet street, near Marble Arch and Hyde Park. We received a warm welcome on arrival and check-in was very efficient. We were assisted with taking our baggage to our street facing room. During our four night stay we experienced no noise...

The Arch is a very nice hotel. It is just walking distance to Oxford Street and shopping. Underground is just around the corner. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean with nice design. Breakfast is a bit expensive and boring. Rooms are not the biggest, beside from that it is a great hotel.

From check-in to check-out, we had a very nice time at The Arch. Little was too much trouble for the staff who were uniformly excellent. We requested a late check-out on booking which was honoured without question, and the breakfast was really very good indeed. The hotel is not perfect - the room we had was very small (not unusual...

fitness room, wifi, location, breakfast and staff were outstanding. Thought the room was a little too expensive. Had a room directly on the street so was noisy in the morning and the hallway was loud too, I think there was a supply room next door.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
