Phoenix Hostel proudly display a massive outdoor sign saying that they are an award winning hostel. Maybe if they were one of two hostels in London this would be true. I can't say that their was anything drastically wrong with the place but I really question on what basis they could have possibly been nominated for any awards either! The...

Phoenix is conveniently located a two minute walk from a tube station. I found the service to be excellent, with very friendly staff. There is a nice bar and a communal area to chill with basic kitchen facilities. The rooms were pretty bog standard, toilets and showers not so clean. I would definitely recommend this place to people travelling on...

Rather nice hostel, staff are nice and helpful. Very close to the underground station so that's a plus. Toilets weren't very many and weren't very clean, but still passable. There is no proper kitchen, only a fridge and a microwave. Still, good money/value ratio. Recommended if you are on a budget.

The staff is friendly & kind just one thing the room was wet so you must to sleep with the windows open and the wifi is little slow sometimes but the location is very good. I was in the room downstairs so near the common area but I didn't hear nothing

I stayed for two nights in dormitory one. There was three bunks and two bunks - I would hate to be on the top third but the two was decent. They have a small area "kitchen" which has a microwave and fridge for use. No food is to be kept in rooms. Staff were friendly enough - the night dude...

We got a 6-bed dorm. The loundge is really great, equipped with TV and with a great little pub so you can drink a pint while relaxing at the end of the day. Several shower and toilets were at our disposal. The bed were a little noisy. The staff was really nice and accomodating. They sell locks and adaptor if...

I really enjoyed this hostel. I walked here from City Thameslink Station (which was relatively far, I didn't realise that when arriving in Stanstead…). Walking through the neighbourhood, I had no idea what to expect, and when I rounded the corner on Daventry Street I was blown away. It's a quaint, cool looking hostel. I stayed here for three nights,...

I stayed here for 2 nights. The price is reasonable, the bed was good, duvet was clean and shower room was fine! and they also stored the luggage for free when I went there before check-in time and for 2 pounds after checking-out. It was super helpful. All staff were kind, sweet and friendly, especially the french staff <3(I forgot...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
