Very nice stay in Phoenix Hostel, former reviews helped me to decide to choose this place for my 1 week trip in London and I can not do anything on mine now than put a 10/10!! Most awesome is clearly the staff, special thanks to Tom!

I had a job trial the day after i arrived. Staff were friendly and helpful with locations, and exceptionally good with keeping the noise down which allowed me to get up at 6 a.m. rested as if i've slept at home. Not to mention the 2 pound breakfast was a luxury deal. The night of my departure i got in...

There for 3 nights. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay regarding location and price. Members of staff went out of their way for a good experience, more than what I've experienced at other hostels. Definitely staying again next time I'm in London.

The location of the hostel is pretty good. It's close to the underground with several connections to the city. The staff is friendly and makes up the bad things good. I'd give the hostel a -10/10 if Scotty wasn't that extremely friendly. The room was way too small. We were with a group of 10 people and god a very...

Amazing cheap place to stay. Brilliant location, friendliest staff and cheapest beer in central london. Stay here everytime I come to London. The pub downstairs has a cosy atmosphere to meet fellow travellers, and the rooms are quiet and clean.

Got bitten up bad by bed bugs here on my 1st night there which pretty much ruined my trip. I was on the bottom of a triple bunk in a small dorm . I asked to change rooms in the morning obviously but the other dorms people staying there were using free bunks for storage so I had to put...

I've been in a few hostel in London, and I can say that it's sometimes hard to try to break the ice when you're new and everyone already knows each other. Here is totally different, you never feel lonely, the team will do everything to make you feel comfortable ! If you are going in a hostel to make new...

Literally the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Checked in for 4 nights, the room is a bit small, but you get your own locker and the beds are so comfortable. The hostel itself is very clean and the atmosphere is very good. The staff is very nice, especially the receptionist named Carola, she'll do the most to make you...

Award for the worst hostel ever I've stayed at in London. Stayed in room 11 on your first step when you enter the damp smell hits you with the worst greeting ever and you know you its going to be a long night ahead. Once i entered the smell had a matching appearance mold on the walls, the hostel has...

Located very handy to Euston Stations for both Circle Lines and Picadilly Lines to get you around town is a huge aspect for any backpacker (in my opinion)! The rooms are decent but cosy and there are ample bathrooms and toilets for each floor however only the main bathroom on the top floor where i stayed was clean, the others...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
