I haven't been yet, but I'll be going in Summer 2017. I'm spending a month in Europe with about 10 days in the U.K. I was trying to figure out how to store my uk souvenirs while traveling the rest of the continent as I won't really have space to bring it all with me in Europe's budget airlines. So...

We stayed here for one night as a cheaper place to stay in London and I would 100% stay here again. The bar has a great atomsphere and feels really welcoming to all! You get what you pay for accomodation wise but the atmosphere really makes the place.

By far the best introduction to London. My phone died and I had no adapter. After many hours of both exploring and looking for the Walrus, I finally found it :) I must have looked sweaty, lost, and thirsty, because I was given a beer right away -haha. Check-in was easy and they have specials for guests. When you get...

I regularly drink in the pub and think it's great. The location is so central and the prices are great for the location. It's a couple streets away from Westminster bridge - leading to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, etc. There's a charming bar downstairs with the hostel rooms upstairs, unfortunately I've never stayed in the hostel so I...

I found the Walrus on my first trip to London two years ago, and have been staying there ever since. The building is definitely on the older side, but it's quirky and unique. I've stayed in several different rooms, and they have all been clean and well looked after. Free breakfast is basic, but filling, and having the pub just...

The Walrus Hostel was so-so, nothing amazing but decent enough for a short stay. The bottom floor is a very busy bar, which is also where you check in. Bar has good prices, but was too busy for my opinion and didn't seem to be all hostel guests. There was no common room besides this area. The room itself was...

I'm not going to say this place was "dirty" but it was definitely dingey and old. If you want to stay somewhere where you're guaranteed almost no sleep then this is the place for you! The train tracks are right next to the building and that thing seemed to run 24 hours a day. If you're there on a weekend,...

I stayed in the hostel for three nights. The building i charming, rooms are a clean and despite the train I managed to sleep decently. Location very handy. Friendly staff. Decent buffet in the morning, nothing handmade. No hangers in the room to hang your coats, and the power sockets not always are closed to the bed. It would take...

Come here all the time. Great cocktails and really reasonably priced. £4 on happy hour and £5 the rest of the time and they taste amazing. Decor is very different and love the walrus themed items throughout. Lovely little place.

You absolutely can not beat the location of the hostel. It's a couple streets away from Westminster bridge (how you get to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, etc.) and close to 2 different subway stops. There's a charming bar downstairs and upstairs is where the rooms are. I stayed in one of the 22 bed co-ed rooms and have...
