This hotel is absolutely flawless - we did have the Junior Suite which was quite large and so many storage cupboards. Brilliant, powerful shower and super comfy bed. ⭐️ Mahima on the reception desk is an absolute superstar. Brilliant location for cafes, restaurants and shopping.
We stayed at a nearby hotel last year and the noise of club goers lasted until 3am. That was not the case at The Resident. I slept like a rock each night. No noise, lovely bed. Great location near tube stations, pubs, restaurants, and the West End theaters. Staff were all incredibly kind. There is even a Gregg’s next door that was about to have its grand opening. We will be returning to this hotel.
Stayed here for 5 nights in May. The front desk staff are all extremely friendly. Location..right in covent garden - need i say more? Rooms were clean, spacious bathroom, and the bed was so comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
Super friendly staff, great rooms lead to a really nice stay. Highly recommend staying here if you want access to the heart of Covent Garden, Soho and all the cool bars that come with it. Room was very clean and quiet
Stayed here for a couple of days. Location couldn't be beat - right in the heart of Covent Garden, easy access to multiple Tube lines. Despite being smack in the middle of busy entertainment district, didn't have any noise issues. Very friendly and professional staff. Room was tiny, but space was well-used and it worked great for me by myself. Best shower I've ever had in my entire life!! I could have stayed in there for hours.
Very nice Boutique hotel, people at the front desk are very nice, helpful , courteous, and avenant. Nice rooms , useful little refrigerator, security box in he room , and a great shower (water pressure and hot water not lacking). Location is great, walking distance to many bars and restaurants with outside heated terrasses. Rooms are sound proof, very quiet. Thanks particularly to Maria and Eva with whom we interacted more at the front desk. France P.
The hotel location is great, in the centre of Covent Garden. We hardly needed public transportation, mostly for sight-seeing. We booked the Superior room as we stayed for 7 nights and it was clean and spacious. The staff was absolutely amazing. It was great to have a late checkout as we had a night flight. My friend forgot her phone post-checkout and the staff notified us in 20 minutes so we could go quickly go back without missing our flight.
I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and functionality of The Resident. The reception staff were so lovely and helpful It was the little touches that made the difference and the kitchenette was a great surprise. We will definitely visit again and I would feel safe and welcome if ever I visit on my own.
As noted multiple times below the Resident Covent Garden is new, immaculate, and wonderfully located! The bed, sheets, nice towels & pantry are swell. The people at the front were friendly - but not my new best friends. We had issues that may be pertinent to older longer-term travelers. We were in room 509 for3 nights of our 8 night trip. We travel with a good bit of clothing and personal items. Although the bedroom area was spacious, the entrance into the bathroom was an extremely narrow 5ft hallway which included double opening doors to BOTH the pantry and the closet. One could not open one set of doors if the other was open. You could not access the bathroom if either set doors wee being used, if the other person was in the hallway to get clothing, or use the pantry. We are not big people but we had to constantly jockey around each other or close doors or wait till the other person was out of the way. You cant exit the bathroom if the other person was in this hallway. The closet is lined with deep shelves, not drawers. It was difficult to see and access clothing. It was even hard to stoop to peer into the shelves because the hall is so narrow. It was just very frustrating throughout. I dont know if the other rooms have this design, but it was wacky. The bathroom, while new and modern, was extremely storage deficient. There is no vanity, just a shelf. The sink was 8 or9 inches deep, making it impossible -as hard as we tried-to wash or brush without splashing water on the floor. Bizarre. There is no lobby per se, but there is great security with 3 sets of card-swipe front doors.…
All staff were so welcoming, friendly and really helpful throughout our stay. Location was perfect. Room was of an excellent standard with all the amenities we hoped for and more. Great to have an early check in and late check out which was much appreciated.
