Close to Bayswater and Queensway tube station, shops and restaurants, quite location on Inverness Terrace. Friendly staff. We had room 402 on the top floor, beware of many steep stairs. great room, very modern, clean and tidy. Comes with TV, small kitchen with microwave and fridge, milk tea and coffee supplied. The bathroom was modern and extremely clean. Will call...

The hotel has a very good location. Nearby are two metro lines, one street further that way a lot of shops, restaurants, gift shops have better prices than in the center. For the same price I got what I expected. It was the perfect base for a week sightseeing tour of the five-person family. (kids aged 14,18 and 20) I...

Our experience with this "hotel" was long and complicated. After a long day of sightseeing, we can in to find a drip in the ceiling from the room below. A thoughtful staff member had kindly stuffed a towel above the bathroom the catch the leak but the towel was saturated by the time we got in for the night. The...

Had to book a hotel in a hurry somewhere in Bayswater as this was the area we wanted to for the many restaurants, supermarkets, shops and cinema all within 5 minutes walk so we went for 73 Studios. A few hours after having made the reservation I went into TripAdvisor/Bookikg.com and found mixed reviews for this hotel so it made...

A 2 minute walk from Bayswater station, great location close to restaurants, good value for money small room and small bathroom but easy to stay in. No lift in the hotel so had to carry bags up stairs. I would stay here again but would try and get a room facing the street as they do look bigger.

Location is excellent, just one tube stop away from Paddington. One street away from restaurants, shopping mall and stores. Our studio was small, a bit tight for two people - this is Europe! There is no elevator, but then again, this is not a hotel proper so we all need to keep our expectations in check. Staff was great, very...

Room wasn't even the same as the one in the pictures so we ended up paying £129 for a hallway with a bed! Things in the cupboard still had dried food on from previous occupants, room was dusty and needed a good clean and when we complained it was shrugged off as if this was acceptable! Complete disgrace and would...

Great Location, Brilliant Staff, very friendly. Arrived before check in and was given access to our room. Asked for more pillows and the request was dealt with immediately. 3rd floor studio apartment, no lift, not a problem for us but could be for some people. Very comfortable room, plenty of space for 3 adults, aircon, good shower, sufficient kitchen and...

It's a bit hard to find the property as there is no signs on the entrance so it looks like a normal house from the outside. I had the room next to reception; but it was surprisingly quiet. The room was quite small; but had all the essentials so no real complaints there. Decor was in need of improvement; but...

Ok, so no lift and we were on the 4th floor of a Victorian Terrace...Taxi drivers are always so helpful!! We arrived not knowing what to expect as we had just refused to stay in a Guest House that was in an awful area!! What a gem awaited us. The room was small but was so newly renovated it didn't...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
