We stayed here for one night as we needed to get to Heathrow the next morning, and the hotel is convenient to the tube and line which go directly to the airport. When we first arrived, our room had a terrible smell, and upon looking around we noticed that the smoke detector had been tampered with (there were small strips...

Brilliant location, very good valued accommodation and terrific staff. A special mention to staff members Amelia, lvana, Edward, Michael, Veronica and Valentin who made our stay there so pleasurable that we wish we could take them all back home with us. Won't stay anywhere else.

This is really great place to stay. As it was my first visit in London, and didnt know much about the city, choosing this place for my accommodation was just ideal! Location is so so so convenient, so close to many restaurants, 5 minutes walk to the underground station - one of the main routes. Supermarket and bakery store just...

Spent a full week there with family of 2 Adults and 2 kids aged 12 & 15. Room on the second Floor (206). It is located 5mins walk from Earls Court tube station (Don't get off at Kensington). Although it wasn't in central London, the tube was so efficient that it didn't matter. It is in a very quiet street....

My mate found this cheap overnight stay on a website. When we arrived we were greeted and were taken into a room with a double bed in when we requested an apartment for 4 people. Glad when we got back after a night out that the sofa bed was pulled out into a double bed. Lovely kitchenette. Shame about the...

My daughter and I just spent 11 nights in a Deluxe Studio apartment on the first level overlooking the street. The room was light and airy with a small balcony overlooking a private garden of neighbouring residents. It was a perfect base for our holiday as we could get to attractions across central London quickly as Earl's Court tube station...

I visited with my wife and two grown children for 5 days of sightseeing. The Presidential offered a room with a double bed and separate room with sleeper sofa that opens to two singles. The room also has an efficiency kitchen and washer/dryer. The place is older and not posh, but the location is very close to the Earls Court...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
