Wilde Covent Garden is a brilliant base for walking around a huge swathe of the central London area; and a with a great transport hub at Charing Cross if you're going further afield. So, perfect for engaging with all the attractions around both North and South London and, despite being on the Strand, has well-sound-proofed rooms.

The staff are fantastic, so friendly and helpful, any problems dealt with until you're happy. The rooms are deliberately compact, but still plenty of room on shelves and under the bed to store your stuff. Perfect for singles and couples, with a huge bed to relax on - however, couples with mobility problems might struggle with having to clamber around the bed from the window side to get to the rest of the room. In the Suites some may for find it very handy to have a tiny-but-well-supplied kitchen that allows for self-catering. Great value for London in the off-peak season, pricier in the summer.

I am rating this hotel five stars for the following reasons: location. Very close to the covent garden shopping piazza. It’s also just across from a bus station as well as a 5min walk to the embankment underground tube station. The staff will call you a taxi if you need. They’re always around to answer questions. The bed is very comfortable we slept very well, but it is platform so might be hard to get into if you have mobility issues. They have an electronic blackout curtain which is nice. Their shower has a hand held shower head as well as a big rain style shower head and you can use either or both at the same time. I do appreciate the Nespresso pods that come in the room along with sugar and a fresh small thing of milk for the purpose of the espressos. They also provide you with two large new glass water bottles. There is a small fridge, a microwave, a heated towel rack. The toilets work well. The water gets hot quickly. There is also a lift in the hotel so you don’t have to do the stairs.

A few tips I will say is: It is quicker to reach them in person than their app. If you have the ability, I would upgrade to a bigger room rather than their small standard room. It was a bit difficult to manage two large luggages and two carry on luggages in the room.

I would stay here again because the location and price are great, and staff are very kind and eager to help. The only thing I’d do differently is get a bigger room. :) thank you for the great stay, Wilde Staff!

I had a great stay at his hotel, the beds are some of the best I've slept on, (on average 2 hotel nights a week, so I get to try a lot of them...), kitchen is a great plus for those with dietry requirements, or just want breakfast in the room. Nespresso machine on top of all that. Bravo! The big drawer under the bed is big enough to fit all your clothes, and the room I stayed in was very quiet. The staff were always friendly. The location is second to none, with a lot of the buses nearby, as well as the underground and some supermarkets. Covent garden is a stones throw away, and for those seeking theatre and musicals you are in the right spot!

1. Wilde Aparthotels, London has set new standards in meeting the needs of present day travellers. It is a departure of the old hotels at much older buildings in many parts of central London.
The location is superb, is close to subway stations and with easy access to many convenience stores and eateries serving food of various nationalities.

2. The hotel is situated in a new building built using modern day construction technology.
Its rooms are equipped with both heaters and air conditioning, so guests have a choice whether to stay warm or cold.

3. The kitchenette is well equipped and clean; giving guests a choice of doing their own in room cooking.

4. The bathroom is great, with good running hot or cold water. The only setback in the bathroom was, there was no attached Bidet for washing the toilet bowl.

5. When we checked into the hotel, we were informed that housekeeping by the hotel will be done if the guests stay seven nights above.
So if you stay less than seven nights, you need to clean the bathroom and room yourself.

6. The hotel staff were friendly and acted promptly on requests made by the guests.

7. Every early morning at the hotel lobby, the person in charge of the hotel in February 2024 who introduced himself to us as Mr Shane, could be seen greeting and talking to guests.

We suggested to Mr Shane that, since guests who stay less than seven nights have to do housekeeping themselves, it would be ideal to install a Bidet near the toilet bowl as guests could use it to clean the toilet. He said that is something the hotel can look into.

8. Above all, we had a good stay at Wilde Aparthotels London.

The hotel is in an incredible location (5 stars for that) however, the cleanliness of the place needs improvement!
Some positives include -
Great attentive staff at the reception area, as much bottles of water in room as you want, refresh on towels and rubbish pick up as you need.
The room itself is pretty and there was a nice large window in the room (couldn’t see very much though)
Bathroom is small which is a bit inconvenient and I don’t think on the website that there is clear enough indication to this.
My biggest issue with the hotel is the lack of cleanliness. Walking into the room it felt dirty, the floors need properly cleaned, there was thick dust on the salt, windowsill, the hand soap. Further, the sponges which were given for the kitchen had already been used. It felt as though the floors had never been cleaned, same goes with the bathroom. There was hair on the white tiles and what looks like rust or mould in the grout of the shower. Unfortunately, the cleanliness never improved outside of the room - during the day at the end of the hall there was linen lying around, used bin bags and baskets lying outside the lift ( I understand this is most likely due to them cleaning the rooms at this time however, there should be a cleaner way of doing this). Further, the carpets outside the room were in deep need of a hoover.
We came into the hotel reception at about 10pm one night and they were moving outside bins through the reception to take them to the front. Again something which I understand they might not be able to help but it feels a bit gross.
There is only one lift which is very inconvenient as it means guests and staff are trying to use it at the same time which causes a lot of back up - this is only really an issue if you are unable to use the stairs but considering the amount which the hotel charge you would expect to be able to use the lift without waiting a long time.
To end with some positivity, the bed is very large and incredibly comfortable! The lighting and heating in the room is smart and sleek! The fridge is very nice and cold which is hard to get in most hotels! And again just want to mention the staff were very nice and always said hello!
Also just want to mention again how amazing the location is! Definitely no faults to that!

The location is unbeatable, but my experience has not been the best. The cleanliness of the apartments on arrival left much to be desired and the size of the rooms seemed quite small,” to go with a child, especially considering the price paid. Of the three Wildes I have stayed in, this has been the worst in terms of quality. In addition, the treatment of reception staff could be improved.

For those looking for better value for money in London, I would definitely recommend Wilde Aldgate Tower Bridge, which offers a much more satisfying experience.

We stayed 7 nights here. Brilliant location for walking to the stations but also walking to restaurants and other attractions. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The room was spotless and very quiet, the black out curtain allowed us to adapt to a new time zone quickly. Beds were very comfortable and air conditioning so quiet. The small kitchen great for a quick breakfast or preparing lunch for day trips. I highly recommend a stay here I would definately come back.

"This hotel excels in both its location and interior environment. They provide a variety of kitchen utensils and heating equipment in the room, even though I didn't use them during my stay, it's still commendable that they offer these amenities.

Furthermore, the room size is quite comfortable. It can accommodate four 28-inch suitcases simultaneously. It's not carpeted, which might be beneficial for travelers with allergies to carpet materials.

The only drawbacks are the low water pressure in the shower and the relatively high price. However, considering that most accommodations in central London are in this price range, when you take into account its quality and location, it's worth the price."

We had a room on the 6th floor so great views! The hotel is in a great location literally 5 mins (max) walk from Covent Garden! Close to underground stations although we walked most places - Oxford Street only about 20-30mins away and lots of sights to see!
The room was small but really well designed so had everything we needed - equipped with Smeg Toaster and Kettle and Nespresso Coffee Pod machine - automatic blinds which were great as could stop at whichever level you wanted. The bed was super comfy and had a great nights sleep despite sharing with me daughter! The reception is a little small if busy but smelt like a spa and looked lovely and the staff were great and helpful. We left our luggage early and they whatsapped us when the room was ready - useful if youre out exploring! All in all a great stay and would defo recommend!

Yes, there is a laundry service. There is a large laundry bag in each room, drop this off at reception first thing in the morning, from memory by about 9am and for 20 pound contents get washed and returned same day. I used the service when I was there & it was great. They also have dry cleaning if required which is more expensive.
