Good value and location. It gives you exactly what you would expect from a travel lodge. Comfortable rooms with the normal facilities. Handy for the underground and for everything around the Tower of London

Stayed 2 nights for a Falklands reunion on HMS Belfast. It was a short walk from Tower Hill underground and also to Tower Bridge. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. It is in an ideal location for travelling around London as Tower Hill on the circle line.

We often use Travelodge as they are great value when wanting a decent bed for the night with no frills that we wouldn't use anyway. On this particular occasion, I had messed up my booking dates (cue stern looks from the wife) but they guy at Reception checked the availability, swapped my dates over and saved the weekend!! Couldn't have...

We stayed here last night and it was brilliant. Check in was smooth and we were given a room on the second floor. The room was clean and although basic was very confortable. We bought breakfast in the morning and it was really good value, buffet style with plenty of choice. What made it was the staff, so friendly and...

This is your basic Travelodge. No frills. Everything appeared to be fine though. We only booked for one night to attend an event at the o2 arena and were gone before breakfast the following day so I cant comment on the hotels facilities. The room was of average size with a tiny bathroom and a window that looked out onto...

Great location even though next to main road (A211) through London and close to Fenchurch Street station and hotel overlooking rail lines. Staff excellent and rooms too - particularly for business travel on a limited budget.

Stayed here for a business trip. Staff were very polite and helpful. Hotel in general is very grubby, dust everywhere and smelt like toilet duck. Room wasn't very clean, other than the bed, that was comfy and clean. Food! Dinner was awful, inedible and completely microwaved, had a chicken burger and chips. Breakfast was good tho. Unfortunately I won't be...

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn of your experience and in such instances we would suggest to let our bar cafe staff know. Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
