Been to the Winchester a few times now and it's never let us down. Great atmosphere and always has a buzz. The food from the bar was fresh and tasty. Will be going there again in the near future when in north London again.

Never stayed over, but a really solid north London boozer. Big old skool bar, high ceilings, pool table, darts board, TVs (somewhat imposing), snug/dining room, outdoor area (not built for summer sun)... does what it says on the tin! :)

Needed somewhere handy for a friends party and as a backup to sleeping on someones kitchen floor. Location was good, price is low by local standards. The building, both exterior and interior is quite tired and neglected, if you accept the fact it's a traditional London pub and not a B&B or "boutique" destination you'll be fine. The room itself...

Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. I come with family and enjoyed my time. We celebrated a birthday!! thank you will come again soon for another party occasion. The service was really lovely and attentive but not too over the top. Left feeling satisfied.

We booked to stay here as were were attending a wedding in Highgate, so the location was perfect. We paid £65/night cash which was good compared to other options in the area. We were given a key to the side door and could come and go as we pleased. The room was large and clean with tea/coffee making facilities and...

We stopped at the Winchester for the Easter weekend. Its a good value basic room, very spacious and en-suite. the pub is very nice. Ten minutes walk from Highgate and the Tube station. Val was very helpful. Very good for a London break.

Compared to other more pricey hotels in this area, the Winchester was just as clean and the bed far more comfortable. I spent one night here and yes I could hear the traffic, but had a good nights sleep because the bed was so comfy. Although the bathroom was in need of some roc it was bigger and nicer than...

Stayed here with friends for weekend and it was perfect for us. Spent most of our time out and about so just used the rooms for sleeping and washing. Rooms were spacious and clean. Good shower and comfortable beds. Paid £65 for twin room for the night, excellent for London. Will stay again when I am over.

Stayed here with my partner on a short London city break. Hotels prices in London were extortionate and we were on a tight budget. It's only a short walk from the Highgate tube station and very easy to get to and from central London. Room was quite large, clean and had everything we needed. Bed was really comfortable. Bathroom was...

I and two other friends chose to stay here as we were looking for for a room with 3 twin beds. As you know, in London it is not that easy to find 'triples". And as you also may know, most rooms in London hotels are "muy pequeno" and as one reviewer described some rooms in London"you can't even swing...
