I stay regularly at Ryder Street Chambers. Location is very central, with Fortnum & Mason and the Royal Academy just around the corner. Everything is always as good as expected. The beds are perfect. The rooms are quiet.

Stayed on a business trip. Got a good price via Laterooms. Can't fault the place really. Lovely bedding, nice toiletries, super location. A herbal tea would have been the icing on the cake! Nice café opposite for a light breakfast.

Thank you for a super review. I will see what can be done about a herbal tea option.

I've stayed here a number of times - in my opinion, an utter bargain. Conveniently located in central London - good for places like Mayfair, Quaglinos, Piccadilly, St James etc.... Tiny, odd little place - it's not a hotel, they are serviced apartments. Not state of the art, but full of character - and you get so much space!!! For...

Good location, no problems, felt safe, will definitely stay again. Liked the fact that Fortnum and Mason was literally around the corner, which meant we could pop in before heading home. Only downside was that daughter slept in the room (room for 3) on the sofa bed and the noise was really loud outside.

Thanks for your kind review. A little tip should you decide to return (we hope you do) and you wish to use the sofa bed for a third guest who is a light sleeper. Please ask for a room nearer the top of the building. These tend to be quieter. We have double glazed all bedrooms but the living rooms...

We had a good stay at Ryder Street Chambers. Cant beat the location which is walking distance to B Palace, Green Park, St James Park, and all the must sees. About a 10min walk from Green Park Tube station. It has a small lift which was nice! Bathrooms are big, beds are clean and comfortable. The manager isn't the friendliest...

Lovely serviced apartments. Only stayed one night for a night at the theatre (Drury Lane) which was within walking distance. Also within walking distance of Leicester Square and Covent Garden. Apartment had plenty of room and was clean and reasonably priced, particularly for the location. Good quality toiletries were provided and had other basic facilities including free wifi, tv with...

Great location for seeing the tourist sights of London. A short walk (5-10 mins) from the theater and shopping areas. Very comfortable accommodation. We were in apartment 1, it has a twin room and double sofa bed. The sitting room with the sofa bed faces the street and was a bit noisy in the morning with deliveries to local businesses,...

Thanks for your kind review. I am pleased to confirm that the fridge is fixed! Next time please let us know if anything is unsatisfactory and we will try to sort it out immediately. We are aware of some complaints that the rooms can be noisy. All the bedrooms have been double glazed to help reduce any nuisance. The living...

What a gem. You just can't beat this for the great location and great price combined. 5 mins walk to GreenPark and Piccadilly, 10mins walk to Leicester Square and the theatres. A short walk to Westminster and also to Buckingham Palace. You don't need the tube to do London if you get the right place, and this is the right...

Fantastic and incredibly central location - just round the corner from the Ritz! Clean, spacious and really reasonable. Twin bedroom and double sofa bed (as comfy as a sofa bed can be) meant 4 adults stayed in comfort. We were hardly in the apartment but it served us very well. We were apartment 1 and had no noise from other...

This was our second stay at Ryder St, its location is great for getting to all the main attractions. Within walking distance of theatre land and Regents St/Oxford St shopping as well as Green Park. Apartment was clean one minor issue with a broken toilet seat but all sorted.

Staying in St. James's

Neighbourhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
