We booked in here as it was near to where our son lives, for the weekend. Very nice quite place, with a lovely clean & tidy room. Staff where nice & friendly. Our only criticism was the breakfast- inedible, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, beans had been in a warming tray for hours- cereal & toast was all we...

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights in a twin room. We got a warm welcome and given a choice of rooms. We chose a room upstairs which was absolutely charming. So nice to get a room with character. It looked as if had been recently decorated and was very clean and fresh. The bathroom was small but...

Came for one night on a business trip. Reception guy was a bit to familiar...we didn't know him, the polite thing to do is to greetcustomers by their last name. Tiny shower and extremely low lights in room and bathroom. We were supposed to have an early breakfast. We go to the breakfast room downstairs, a lady that barely spoke English...

Made very welcome at reception. Room clean and looked as if it had been refurbished recently. How ever, it was small for a double and toilet/shower room very small. The room lacked bed side tables. Breakfast was buffet style and plenty on offer. Parking at the back of the lodge.

I stayed at Balham Lodge on a Friday night in early October, arriving at 1500 and leaving at 1000 the next day. I arrived and left by train. Balham rail station and underground are a 10-15 minute walk away. I can't tell you about how it works for cars or parking. I had not been to Balham before. Its shopping...

I stayed here for one night and everything was good being a B&B. The lady on the front desk was very courteous and helpful. As parking is considered to be non existent in London I was offerend a parking inside this place so that solved a big issue.

Stayed for one night as part of two couples. Both our room and the other couples room were lovely. The furnishings, the look and feel of the rooms were very nice. This was true of the hotel as a whole! The staff were friendly and very helpful. The nearest tube station a 15/20 mins walk but plenty to do in...

We decided last minute to stay overnight for the madness gig on Clapham Common, as you can imagine you don't get much of a choice when you book when the nutty boys are in town. We booked on booking.com and didn't really have high hopes. Well a good 15 minutes walk from the tube and what a lovely surprise, beautiful...

I stay in the Balham lodge when visiting London for business. It has comfortable beds, good wifi and an excellent all you can eat breakfast. It has its own parking for 4 to 5 residents but there is parking on adjacent residential roads which is free and close enoughto be monitored on the cctv. Always a pleasant stay and would...
