My default place to stay in London on my visit. Centrally located and within walking distance to Baker Street Tube, Marble Arch, Hyde Park and Oxford Street. Simple kitchenette is perfect for people whom enjoy whipping up a simple meal after a long day out and about in London. Stayed in the Family room which has a Queen Bed and...

We had been here for 10 days. Very helpful teem, the beds were comfort and room was big. Small but satisfied kitchen in separate room. Good location, 8 minutes walk with kids to several Underground locations (Marvel Arch,Baker Street). The furniture little bit old, but everything is clean. Good Solution for families that want to eat their on breakfast that...

Excellent location equidistant to Oxford street and Baker Street station. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough to help in finding answers to all our questions. My wife and I spent 4 nights in the spotlessly clean, reasonably sized room with a small kitchen and its all necessary amenities. The only fault we found was in the...

Indeed, the location is good. The deluxe room we had was on the small side; it is actually a room that had been split into two at one point. The bathroom is tiny (one cannot stretch out both arms in it). It will do for a short stay.

We have spent seven nights at Amber Residence. We were traveling in family (2 adults + 1 nine year-old child). We have had a fantastic experience. Room was spacious enough (bathroom in-suite complete but a bit little). Kitchenette was good enough except for lack of smoke extractor, which would help. Cleaning service was superb and daily (except weekends). Personnel at...

I've just returned from a very enjoyable family holiday in London were we stayed at the Amber Residence. I have to say that I was quite happy with our choice of accommodation. Even though we were a party of four (2 adults & 2 children) the room we had was more than satisfactory. The rooms were spotlessly clean, beds comfortable,...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
