So we arrive to a shabby entrance and you're not even sure if you're in the right place. For £88 per night you expect something bigger than a room you can just about swing a cat in and a bathroom which is the size of a closet. No decorations, no carpet, 1 towel each but no hand towels or mats...

Very central and bustling location, just over 10 minutes' walk from Lime Street station and really close to a lot of restaurants, bars and clubs (Brunch Club on Duke Street great for brunch, wonderful tapas at Neon Jamon on Berry Street). Friendly staff. Spacious room with comfortable beds. Two basins in bathroom. Interesting building. V cheap mini bar. Sensible lighting!...

Very basic, no breakfast food at all available. There where long black hairs everywhere including in the bed. The room could do with a proper clean. There is a lift, the old type with two heavy pull and push doors that you have to use to even get to the hotel floors. As my header states, you get what you...

I shared a twin room at the hotel with a friend, as we were up in Liverpool for a Friday evening event. We chose it because it was near to the venue we needed to get to, and because of the very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, and throughout our stay. Our room was lovely...

The street where the hotel is situated does not feel well in the evening. It's a bit of a back street. I walked passed it twice before I realized it was just there. The building also serves as a studio. The guy at the reception was perfectly polite and helpfull. The view from the window was a back wall. There...

If you're looking for a peaceful, quiet stay somewhere conventional this probably isn't for you as others have commented - it's in the middle of the city's most vibrant quarter. However, if you're looking for somewhere funky and ideally placed for the Waterfront, Liverpool One, Baltic Triangle and the many excellent bars and restaurants on Hope St, Bold St and...

We had read previous reviews and knew there were bars and clubs near by which didn't bother us but maybe not a great idea if your on a business trip or like quiet...

Ok maybe thats unfair on Primark. Lets start with positives..good location and friendly staff especially the American lady.Comfy bed. Otherwise dirty room, hair in drawers, sticky dirty inside other drawers, rubbish in bathroom bin, dusty. TV remote broken, power shower not working(the jet bits). Absoloutly roasting hot room, no heat on the heated towel rail ironically leaving my one allocated towel...
