Unbelievable venue, location and Sue Donna and the team are amazing. We booked the racquet club after being shown round and fell in love with the place. Nothing was too much trouble for Sue and the team. My endless stupid email questions were always pole answered and nothing was ever too much trouble. We booked the whole place the day...

There is good and bad about this hotel.  For a start, I guess I didn't read the small print.  The 'apartments' are not actually at the Racquet Club but across the road and around the corner.  Not far but not so easy to pop down for breakfast or a drink at the bar. So no different really from not staying...

Me and my husband held our wedding reception here in June 2014 and it was quite simply amazing. I had taken on the task of doing a lot of things myself (such as centre pieces and candy cart) and was a little worried about the logistics of getting it all in place but Sue, Donna and Helen were fantastic and...

I had a birthday party here and it was wonderful. Staff were really helpful and were there when needed without being intrusive. Food was delicious and the venue is just perfect . Guests are still commenting on how much they enjoyed the food and the beautiful place. We stayed the night and enjoyed a beautiful room with a very comfortable...

We held our wedding reception here on 5th October 2013 (sorry this review is late!) and I cannot praise the staff at the venue enough. We had a smooth, problem free day and night that was fantastic from beginning to end. Sue, the Manager, who we organised everything through was simply brilliant and nothing was too much for her. We...

Hi Rob, Sorry this is so late but I really felt that we should pass on just how pleased we were with how you organised everything for our daughter's christening back on Saturday 24th of May. Lots of people have commented on the Racquet Club and what a fine building it is. But mostly everybody has commented on the food...

We stayed for two nights during a warm spell and this had its downside. In room 6 the windows don't open so the room was very warm at night. The hotel installed a free standing air conditioning unit which blew a noisy draught out which helped a little but sleep quality was compromised. We can't blame the hotel for the...

Stayed here for 2 nights B&B on a Living Social deal for the amazing price of £99 for 2 people. This was amazing value and the hotel was worth more so we certainly got a bargain. Room 3 was a lovely room with period furniture, very different from the impersonal decor in many hotels nowadays. The staff were great and...

The Hotel reception staff are really friendly, this was really nice to see as a first point of contact. We stayed in Room one, it was fine, really clean, nice bathroom...
