The room my wife & I stayed in over looked adjacent buildings to a degree, however half of the huge glass pane was frosted so if you draw the curtain partly full privacy is achieved and still let adequate light in, must say I couldn't grumble for the price and to add it was only a base, my main residence was the bars lol.
