I stayed at the embassie twice. The first visit was wonderful. There is free coffee tea and toast with a huge assortment of spreads, available 24/7. I came on a Thursday and went on Kevin sr.s Beatles walking tour. He is very cute, he reminds me more of an uncle or grandfather than a staff member. He is full of... More

It's next to the campus of University of Liverpool, but not in the city centre. Staffs are friendly and bed are comfort. However, there are only two plugs in 12-bed room and a little bit messy in common area. Wifi is weak.

The Embassie is in a converted Georgian house on a tree lined square about fifteen minutes walk from the main shopping area of Liverpool. The staff were friendly. there is unlimited tea and coffee available. the rooms were multibunk but good enough. Lockable lockers available on deposit which you get back. The bonus is a chap called Abraham who showed... More

I was in Liverpool for a quick stopover to watch Liverpool FC play. I could not have been happier. There were people from all over the world to chat with and the staff were very nice. It was a great spot to unwind and have a beer while sitting in the TV room. Showers could have been a little nicer.

I would definitely recommend the Embassie, especially for travellers that are fans of The Beatles. If it is possible try and stay there on a Thursday night so that you can join the free Beatles tour with Kevin Sr - overflowing with anecdotes about the Beatles and an journey into the history of Liverpool you will get some brilliant insights... Embassie Hostel is a nice located hostel with character. The hostel is located in an area with lots of memories linked to The Beatles, which old and young Kevin (owners) will love to tell about you when you ask them. The city center is a 15 minute walk, which is fine as long as it doesn't rain ;-) The staff... More

I booked this hostel for a stag weekend. It was cheap and not too far from the city centre. I don't really look for much more from hostels! On arrival we were warmly greeted by Kevin Sr, who told us what was what, and that he'd given a bunch of free passes to the Cavern Club to a member of... More

You'd expect basics for the price. But thus place needs a good clean. One of the lads in our group said he'd burn his clothes when he got home! Unless this place has a refurbishment avoid! There are as others have pointed out, other places to stay. I dont blame any individual who booked this for our event though.

The place is an average bed and breakfast type accommodation. Located quite close to the center of Liverpool and has some landmarks close as well. The breakfast was very simple yet enough to start your day. Toasts, sweets, juices and hot drinks available all the time. The owners were kind enough to great us when we arrived (we came as... More

I travelled with a group of friends for leisure, and when we booked the Embassie we were told we had a dorm for 8. When we arrived we were in a dorm for 12, the room was freezing, the beds were dirty and the place had an unpleasant smell about it. We asked if there was space for another person... More
