i stayed here as a last minute booking due to work. i couldn't quite believe my eyes as i arrived. the front garden was over grown and full of what looked like old tat. once i was inside the first thing i noticed was the decor, the decor was perfect... if we still lived in the 1980's. the bed sheets...

Stayed here as it was a last minute booking after my first choice informed me it was double booked. Decor was dated and tired, with threadbare carpets and furniture straight out of a 1980's MFI catalogue. Some areas of the hotel are bare plaster, including one of the bathrooms, which also was covered in black mould and fitted with a...

People very friendly but hotel really needs an update. Very old and worn, floor in bedroom made so much noise when you walked across it and shower was awful, the shower door did not close properly because the floor was uneven so had to put towel on floor to soak up the water. One good thing was the breakfast, very nice.

In Liverpool for one Saturday night, this Hotel served it's purpose well. There is nothing but functionality regarding the room I had. It was a quiet single, at the back of the hotel, just as I had requested, giving me a good night's sleep after a long day. I had asked the "manager" to arrange a taxi for the trip...

Just a weekend away to meet up with some friends. Picked a cheap hotel for the night and that is what we got. Reflected in the price the hotel is basic. No Ritz but did the job. The room was clean and comfortable. Facilities basic but sufficient. Staff helpful, especially as we wanted to check in early. I didn't have...

I had read the earlier reviews prior to my stay and followed one wise piece of advice - bring loo roll. Sure enough, on the second day, I needed to. Breakfast was very good and the Antony Gormley installation 'Another Place' was only a 20 minute walk away! The hotel is quite old but it was clean, safe, quiet with...

Stayed for 1 night, Lovely big room with nice furniture. Spoilt by badly stained carpet and damp stained wall paper. Real shame as this could be a lovely hotel. Biggest plus was the fantastic breakfast, filled me up for the day... Having said all that I did have a good nights sleep !
