Fantastic hotel on the Liverpool docks, stay two nights at the hotel, nice rooms and the breakfast was nice. Great location would recommend for a night away. Close to the docs and the shops and nightlife. Really enjoyed my stay.

Stayed for 2 nights which included breakfast. Excellent location and all Touristy attractions within walking distance. The staff were all so polite and chatty. Breakfast was self service and more than adequate. The room was a little small but clean and all we needed for 2 nights. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room which was great. Would definitely... More

A night away to see Deacon Blue in concert at the Echo arena. We upgraded from the Travelodge that we had already booked when this room became available at the last minute. Positives: Fantasic views of the Liver Building & River Mersey from our room. Great location; Lovely design; newly decorated room; lovely, helpful staff. Negatives: Although it has obviously... Stayed here whilst on business. The location is pretty good to explore Liverpool, near Princes dock and the Liver Building, nearest station is Moorfields. A cheery welcome at reception, and the room was spacious and clean. The (large) king bed was very comfortable and the plus-sized TV was a nice touch. The corridor smelled of fresh paint, but my room... More

What can I say, from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, it was brilliant. Had been invited to Liverpool for a friends 60th Birthday , had never been to Liverpool before so didnt know any of the hotels or the areas they were in. Was so surprised when we got there, the hotel was dead... More

This was a birthday treat to the Empire Theatre.Loved the location. We feel that the cost of the room at £239 plus £10 each for breakfast and a further £10 for parking is too expesive for a one night stay There was no hair dryer in the room as was advertised. I had to go to breakfast with wet hair.... More

Large room with views out to the 3 Graces and the Mersey. Room was clean with a good shower. Nice, helpful staff (apart from the restaurant). The buffet breakfast is very good, with fresh food brought out on a regular basis. Avoid the restaurant in the evening though. Menu for the bar is exactly the same as the restaurant and... More

I stayed in a different Mercure some years ago and it was not a good experience. As a family we decided to try again, but the faults and problems have not been rectified. The rooms are clean and well presented, but the telephone had been pulled out of the wall and didn't work, there was not hair dryer (there was... More
