The hotel was located opposite The Royal Liver building. Views from the room were impressive loooking out on the Mersey. Room was clean and tidy and bed was comfortable. Location was great with everything a short walk away, Albert Docks, Liverpool One, Museums, Cavern club and more. It was a good choice to explore Liverpool from. Breakfast was well worth...

Stayed two nights here in a prestige room. Room was very clean and spacious with a fantastic view over the liver building. The bed was very comfortable and bloody huge!! Bigger than a king size by a good foot. The location is good, only a 5 - 10 minute walk from the Albert Dock and Liverpool one. Breakfast was ok,...

Great location, nice views. The hotel itself was quite luxurious and posh, just like you would expect any other Mercure hotel to be. However, we experienced quite a poor service at the reception by this middle aged man (dont want to name him). He seemed rude and annoyed or stressed, even though there was no reason for that as there...

Booked last minute to visit family early December. . Hotel communal areas undergoing renovation at the time but was fine, in fact amazed at how efficient contractors were. Room very comfortable, amazing view across the Mersey, especially at night, early hours when the clouds were blowing a Gale across a huge sky. Breakfast lovely, plenty of choice/room in dining Room...

Situated opposite the Famous Liver building and Albert Dock, nice clean room, but felt cold due to old wooden windows, but the staff did kindly offer to move me to another room on a higher floor away from the high winds and noisy church bell ringing practice on Friday night. Nice breakfast, dining room staff always looked happy during service...

Stayed here after booking through last minute.com. we had a standard double. The room was fine. Nice mustard and grey colour scheme. Big bed but mattress was quite lumpy and could feel the springs. Kettle but only one teabag was provide and one pack of biscuits. Windows were not able to open and when we had shower the room steamed...

Stayed for one night, lovely clean room and bathroom, as it was raining we decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant, what a great decision that was! We had the weekender offer a three couse meal with a bottle of wine cost £50 for two, with a 2 o clock check out. First great restaurant staff, very helpful, friendly...

Just had a overnight stay in this fabulous hotel. The receptionist who greeted us on our arrival was very friendly and made the both of us feel really welcome. We stayed in room 914 and the views of the Liver buildings, Pier Head and the docks were truly breathtaking. The room was spotlessly clean along with the very spacious bathroom....

I thought I'd better explain the 4Star rating in the title. The hotel itself was a little shabby and rough round the edges but the room as a whole was nice. Hearing not great but it is winter so hey it's gonna be a bit cold isn't it! Nice view of the docks from our room and we could see...

A really nice hotel in a good location. We were on the 11th floor and our room had a view of the Liver building and the River Mersey. Room was a good size, with a decent sized bathroom, although my booking specified a bath and there was only a shower. The breakfast was excellent and the staff couldn't have been...
