The most disgusting, dirty, filthy hotel I have ever stayed in. Exterior is fantastic but interior is a very different story. First I was given a smoking room on a very smelly 6th floor. The room was stinking of stale tobacco and was advised by the reception they have high demand for smoking rooms! I was then moved to a...

This was the filthiest place I've ever been. I went with a package deal if I had of known where I was staying I would have cancelled the trip. The whole room was filthy the bathroom floor had hair and dirt all over. The sheets were not changed they made the bed but there was a mark on the sheet...

Very dated breakfast was terrible. Hotel is like something out of the shining. Was waiting for Jack Nicholson to walk down corridor. Rooms dated, bathroom not clean and was not cheap. Should of stayed in a premier inn at least they are clean and modern. Would not recommend at this price

Stayed one night here, St Patrick's day Friday 17th March. The hotel has clearly been a fabulous, glamorous place in its hey day. Yes it maybe does needs some TLC but the 'bones' of the building are great, with what would have been a really imposing banqueting hall with a massive art-deco chandelier hanging in pride of place, I fell...

What an awful hotel, we had room 606 it was absolutely filthy, dust and hair under the bed, the bathroom was old, smelly and dark, the window sills were mouldy and the curtains needed a desperate wash!! But worst of all was the kettle, we opened the lid and it had brown slimey water at the bottom which is a...

We Brits are known for putting up with anything and the Adelphi plays on that. Beautiful building which needs completely gutting. Fairly clean but rusty fittings and creaky old beds. Noise from lifts kept us awake all night.

After reading some of the adverse reviews,we were a little aprehensive about our stay. The room was great with a marble fireplace & comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean & spacious. Although the breakfast wasnt great it was adequate. The highlight though was the Frech Restruant,we paid £5-00 extra for an upgrade which was well worth it. The food was excellent...

We booked at the Adelphi hotel as I had seen it on a tv documentary some years ago and seemed to be nice. How wrong was I when we turned up the hotel is like going back in time, poor poor quality room and we were even upgraded so hate to think what the original £150 room per night was...

Ancient run down in need of major refurbishment. Rooms very dated and in poor state of repair. Breakfast is the worst we've had, very greasy and barely edible. This hotel is in a prime location which is greatly let down by the state of the building and the food. Would NOT recommend.
