Friendly homely place to stay, staff and locals extremely nice, which adds to a great atmosphere. Only a few mile from the city it's easy to taxi or use the train in and out, rates are very very reasonable and the breakfast is excellent. Looking forward to our next trip to Liverpool and will stay again.

I stayed at the Herculaneum last weekend with two friends. Although the rooms have quite basic decor they have everything you need i.e flat screen tv, tea making facilities and a powerful shower. A good clean room, and a good breakfast incl. The staff are friendly and they will help you out. Ok, it's not in the center of Liverpool, But is a good way to start your with a walk near the Merseyside to downtown..

Although I live in Liverpool, I stayed at The Herculaneum Bridge Hotel after having a party there. The management and staff are lovely and friendly. The rooms are clean and warm. The breakfast was freshly cooked and was delicious. I would definitely stay there again!.
