We stayed for one night en route to Norfolk. Very, clean comfortable room (room 5) with fabulous views over Lincoln. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice. Very pleasant stay. Highly recommend the local pub - The Strugglers for excellent beer. Would certainly pay a return visit when next in the area.

Needing a stop over for work I found it very difficult to get good parking and a room for a reasonable price in Lincoln without using the big chain hotels. Savill guest house ticked all the boxes and the hosts were very accommodating to early breakfast requests. The room was clean and presentable with lovely views over trent valley. A...

We had to try a new B&B after our usual one closed due to sale. We were recommended to try Savill's and were not disappointed. Mary is an excellent hostess and the Guest House is lovely. Rooms are well appointed, clean, comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast is excellent. For those wanting to get into the upper city, it's an easy walk....

We have been staying here for several years on-route North as it is an excellent place to stay - great welcome, good rooms and very useful parking. The rooms are best at the front of the house - very spacious with views over the Trent valley but all we have stayed in are clean and comfortable. Superb value for money...

We moved to the Savill Guest House from a less than satisfactory guesthouse in another part of Lincoln. Although we arrived at very short notice we were greeted warmly and made to feel at home. Thank you. Lovely, very big room overlooking fields and views to the horizon. The Savill is on a busy road, but the house is set...

From booking to leaving we felt looked after. If you want modern, this is not for you but for us it was ideal. One of the few places that does not inflate prices for the market days. Our hosts looked after us and pointed out places to visit at the less crowded times. Our room had super views and had...

Stayed here for one night to visit Lincoln Xmas market. The owners, Mary and Alan were lovely, so friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely, apparently it was one of the smaller rooms but we loved it. It was so comfortable with lots of lovely homely touches. Breakfast was very nice, freshly cooked by Alan, nothing was too much trouble....

We stayed here for the Steampunk event, September 2014. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. The house itself is a lovely late Victorian building with lots of original features. Our room was large and there were a lovely ensuite with claw foot bath and separate shower cubicle. Breakfast was tasty with lots of options and a good veggie choice....

We needed four rooms for one night as we were all going to a family wedding. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the whole place was clean and comfortable, and the full english breakfast was excellent. Very good value for money and close to the historic part of the city. If ever we need a place to stay in...

I actually fell in love with everything about this Guest House. It was a last minute decision to stay overnight in Lincoln and I went to the Tourist Information Board in the City Centre for help. After about 10 phone calls they found the Savill had spaces. As you approach the Guest House you feel that you are in some...
