After deciding last minute to have a weekend away, we phoned around and booked here for the night with breakfast. On arrival there was plenty of parking and a friendly welcome from staff. The hotel was easy to find with a satnav. The hotel is dog friendly, which although we didn't take advantage of we certainly would consider it in...

We received a very warm welcome on arrival. Our room was on the third floor (attic room) was nice if a bit on the small size. Though it did serve its purpose for one night. The bathroom was a wet room and looked lovely. However not very practical once you had a shower as water was everywhere in such a...

We have just spent 2 nights at this hotel, during the Christmas market festival. The hotel was easy to find with a sat nav, a small car park for 6/7 cars, a plus side for us. The owners are the most genuine people I have met in a while. Very helpful, courteous, nothing to much trouble. Their daughter is a...

My friend and I had stayed at this hotel on a weekend. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we didn't manage to make the breakfast. Only criticism was the bathroom. The toilet had not been cleaned probably the shower was broken.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable hotel overlooking Lincoln's arboretum. The hotel garden has a private gate giving access to the arboretum. Our dog enjoyed the freedom of the garden, although she rather blotted her copybook by killing a pigeon. Because the hotel was not full, we were upgraded to a large room with a four poster bed...

As we arrived we were greeted by a super friendly receptionist, checking was quick and easy. The room was big and spacious, the bed was super comfy, my only bug bear was the bathroom, difficult to use the toilet, as it sits right infront of the shower, The view from the room, looked out onto the back garden, which gave...

The Hillcrest is the perfect hotel for exploring Lincoln while being away from the busy city but a pleasant walk away. Very peaceful. Great for your dog as so near the Arboretum. The welcome is so friendly and genuine and the breakfast is up there with the best we have had, quality food and cooked just right and with a...

If I'm honest as we pulled up on a wet rainy day and see a 2 star rating we feared the worse But we was presently surprises staff friendly. Rooms a nice size, big bed and decorated nicely. Clean and had a hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities and freeview TV. Breakfast was also nice with a choice of fruit or...
