I have been a regular here for ten years. Always a great pint of Landlord. Pricey yes, but it is next to the Castle so it's a price worth paying. Don't complain about the price of beer as there is a price list clearly shown . Yes the food portions aren't massive, but it's a pub, not a McDonald's. haters...

The Victoria used to be best pub in Lincoln. Now doesn't have quite same atmosphere or range of beers, tho beer quality good. Lounge is classic traditional room. Still a good pub. Staff friendly. Good outside tables & chairs area.

Not a bad pub but had six different prices for the same drinks, staff were polite enough but had no idea what to charge, a difference of £2.00 when you refreshed your glasses?mentioned it to the landlord and he sorted it out professionally,so apart from that it was ok

I bought the scampi, chips and peas for £5.25 adult meal, you could have fitted it on a saucer and still had room left on the plate Totally aimed at ripping off the tourists, I am from Lincolnshire and it is places like these that put off tourists coming back, trading standards should pay them a visit

Now in the 13th year in Lincoln, I would count on one hand the number of times I've been served here by a pleasant member of bar staff. Very poor. Ah well, there's my tester visit over with for another while. Beer still poor. Shame. Thank God the Strugglers sits in wait next door.

This was the real ale pub that dominated uphill Lincoln. Range of ales, cheap food that was tasty and a cozy atmosphere. But now the Strugglers (virtually next door) has a cheaper range of ales and an equally cozy atmosphere. Still the Vic has the food that worth a look. If you fancy a few pints may I suggest a...

Checked into the old bakery a minute or two away and wanted lunch. Walked in not knowing what to expect. Immediately chose 2 pork pies and pickle plus pint of landlord and white wine. 2 hours later and another 2 drinks each + superb pies, sitting in sunshine outside (in early October?!) looking up at the castle walls, we ventured...

Having had a glorious walk around the Bailgate and through the beautifully renovated Lincoln Castle we exited to see The Victoria Inn. My husband likes its wide range of real ales. The staff were very friendly even had the foresight to have big jars of old fashioned sweets and served in paper bags much to my son delight. All in...
