I stopped here on my way up to Nottingham. My sat nav took me to a nearby road, so I called the hotel and the night attendant helped direct me to the correct location. I arrived at about 2 30 am and was greeted by the same friendly night attendant. The service was good. This hotel is basic, but does...

When we booked this hotel we weren't sure what condition it would be in as it was on the services, but decided that as we only needed some where to sleep as we were visiting family it would do. We were pleasantly surprised at the standard of the room,it was refurbished abou two years ago and was still quite fresh. The...

Pros: Staff are friendly. Really close to the M1. Rooms were nice and clean. Plenty of parking. Cons: The dilapidated remains of what used to be services still remain as an unsightly stain between the hotel and a BP service station. Not very inviting for families.

This is a very comfortable, refurbished hotel and very quiet even though it's just off the main road. There;s no restaurant but you can buy breakfast packs, and takeaways in Coalville will deliver to the hotel.. There is a fuel station next door and access to the M1 only metres away. An excellent bus service into Leicester or Coalville and...

Hotel was clean and receptionist very helpful in regards to the lack of food on site - great little transport café a minutes walk form the hotel which opens at six am. The local take-away's deliver but there is a minimum order (one was a tenner, another twenty) which was not suitable for me as I was alone and didn't...

Needed a family room just whilst attending a local event. Good basic room, clean and comfortable. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Quick to attend to any needs. Decent bathroom. There is only basic gel soap, so best to bring all your own toiletries including soap. The walls are a bit thin, so could get disturbed if there are noisy...

Room and staff very good .Overall friendly and enjoyable stay . The travelodge is easy to get to and although no restaurant there are plenty of places to eat nearby . The staff supply takeaway menus and are very helpful with offers of contacting them on your behalf.

I attended for one night. The receptionist was very helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. The accommodation was clean and quiet. There was plenty of parking. Although the outside area is run down it was clean. There is no food outlets near by but plenty in the local area, which the staff were happy to advise on.

Unfortunately we were disturbed late at night and early in the morning. seems to be a hotel targeting builders and road workers and not families. Beds are as hard as rock. Would have complained but felt like we were intruding on the morning catch up held in the reception area. 'thanks. Bye now' was what we experienced at check out....
