Good Points: There is free WIFI thats good enought to stream, free and ample parking, basic coffee and tea making facilities, free show gel and the rooms are clean and tidy. Now for the bad points, please remember I booked a £39 basic room, so it isn't going to be the Ritz! Bad Points: Opening times on TripAdvisor say 2PM...

Ok, booked this room for 2 nights and was disgusted with the room as there was no air con, dirty towels, no hot water and to my disgust a dirty toe nail on the shower floor as it had not been cleaned at all. Also people in the early hours of the morning disturbed me banging doors and disrespecting other...

Came here with the family for my Grandad's birthday celebrations. Interior design was appealing, average priced drinks, and overall atmosphere was average. Food wasn't good at all! The room I stayed in was filthy and certainly not value for money. There was no food available and I wasn't made aware of this prior to booking. However, judging by the filthy room I wouldn't have risked the food! During my 2 night stay my room wasn't cleaned once.. Having complained to the owner directly now and pushed for...

Have eaten at the Red Lion evenings, Sunday lunch and a lovely Christmas Day family lunch. Enjoyed it every time with very good individually cooked dishes. Yes it is also a village 'local' but that just adds to the atmosphere. Not quite as sophisticated as the Grey Goose around the corner but slightly cheaper and very much a pub atmosphere...
