Stayed recently as stated on hotels.com as dog friendly at a cost of £5 per dog with free onsite car park!. Firstly the car park is not onsite nor is it free, it's up the road on a bit off waste-ground in a quite unsavoury area at a cost of £7. Re dog friendly, mm not too sure re that...

I'm sorry that you didn’t enjoy parts of your stay with us. We are very sorry about the partial mistake on one of our third party bookings sites which does state that free parking is available. We have listed that 'free self parking' and 'free nearby parking' is available. This is not a lie as on street parking is available...

Stayed here for one night, myself and 3 children. Had a family room which was compact but didn't feel claustrophobic. Ensuite was good, beds were comfy and breakfast was lovely with a wide choice of hot and cold. If you want to feel right at home and among friends when you go on holiday the Caroldene is the place to go. Sue and her son Andrew bend over backwards to ensure you enjoy your holiday and nothing is too much trouble for them. I have never seen people work so hard to make sure their guests are happy....

Visited on sun 26th July,meet by the landlady sue who was so welcoming,she showed us round the bar and eating area and explained about mealtimes etc. then took us up to show us our room,which was a lovely big room with a double bed and bunk beds which the kids loved!! Stayed here for a few days and was very pleasantly surprised.staff very nice, friendly and couldn't do enough for us.very clean and good wholesome food.if your a bit infirm stairs will be a problem but if your looking for a quiet location but close to prom then this would be difficult to beat.

Stayed here for 3 nights 29/6_2/07. Had a lovely stay here. Rooms were clean with clean towels everyday. Breakfast offered a varied range of hot dishes and also included fresh fruit yogurt cereal etc. Our overall experience was very comfortable and friendly. Would recommend.
