We stayed for one night as we were in Blackpool to support our rugby team in the Big Bash. We've stayed in Blackpool loads of times and knew to expect quite a basic room and tired hotel. It's just what we have had before unless you pay a bit more. It wasn't like that though! Very nice hotel, comfortable room...

1. Parking : please be advised that parking is very limited at this hotel and there are only a small number of parking spaces outside the hotel, which were all occupied when we arrived, so we parked at the parking bay which is at the side of the building , but we could not use the car the remainder of...

Went here for afternoon tea. Was very surprised to find how busy it was. Warm and friendly welcome from both reception and restaurant staff. Area set aside specifically for the teas. Tables sufficiently apart to be able to have a conversation without having to whisper so people not overhearing. Sandwiches fresh an appetising, as were the cakes and cream scones....

We enjoyed delicious home made sandwiches with crusts removed, scones with jam and cream and four different home made cakes. Choice of teas (Darjeeling, Earl Grey or Breakfast) or coffee. Attentive service. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and a lovely treat.

Hi Many thanks for your lovely review and I am so glad you enjoyed your Afternoon Tea at the Sheraton. If you are the couple I think you are who won the afternoon tea in the Evening Gazette, I must say when I saw you sitting in the seaview table on such a sunny day I did wish I could...

Hotel Sheraton is right up the far end of the North Shore in Blackpool you would think the distance from the town centre would spoil the holiday but with tram and bus stops outside the hotel it wasn't too bad The main entrance and throughout the hotel was being refurbished during our stay but other than seeing the odd builder...

Dear Bob, Thanks so much for your 5 out of 5 review and I am pleased you will return again. I am glad you lovely everything about the hotel. The beer prices are slightly more than a pub or club pint but that's normal for hotels where you can relax in the beautiful lounge or bar enjoying the live entertainment....

On arrival there was a Lovely reception area and bar area. Taking the lift to the 3rd floor was good and the corridor were fresh and modern and then you go through the door and it's back to the 1950's. Room was very dated, peach bathroom, awful uncomfortable bed with a big lump through the middle. The rooms are not...

We have now refurbished half the rooms and corridors but with any of these things it takes time and money. The high quality of the new design and...
