I visited the Strand for the first time as part of a National Holiday in November 2016. It was an all paid for deal for 5 days with evening meal and full breakfast. The room was a double, and it was mostly clean with good facilities, lovely bath and shower. The view was of the promenade which was great. Each... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay at The Strand, our 8th visit to this hotel. We were quite concerned after reading some of the previous reviews, but we should not have worried. Our room was spotlessly clean, with clean bedding and towels provided. Breakfast was lovely, food very hot and all the staff very friendly. We didn't have evening... More

Stayed here for two nights and would definitely be back. Large room, clean tidy and well equipped. Only complaint is that the bathroom was a bit small, but I coped. Breakfast lovely, fresh and yummy. Entertainment in the evening was a bonus!! Most of all Dog Friendly!!! Would recommend.

We arrived here after booking what we thought was the strand hotel. When we arrived it was like no mans land, barely seen a member of staff except from during breakfast. On booking no one made me aware that we would be staying in an overspill for the hotel itself. If I had known this I would have just booked... More

Only in the room for sleep and change.Bathroom shower fine. Sea view and good double glazing so no noise. Black out curtains too !! Breakfast only , fair choice... More

We stayed here with Blackpool Promotions fri to Mon. We chose this hotel as it said it was wheelchair accessible. On arrival we went to the lift to go up to our room. The lift is so small only me and my mum in her wheelchair fitted in. We left our luggage with friends and I came back down to... More

Lovely hotel in great position on seafront. Ideal for all amenities. Couldn't fault staff nothing was too much trouble for them, always cheerful and polite. Food good especially breakfast. Entertainment at night good fun and bingo was a laugh. This hotel has a nice atmosphere and would definitely go again.

Coach holiday. This is the third visit to The Strand this is the first time to see the Illuminations which were brilliant. Really worth the effort to visit and see. The Hotel standards have not changed. A lot of the same staff, memorable for their efficiency and nothing is too much trouble attitude. The food was really good varied and... More
