My family and I stayed at the Middleton over Easter 2013. We found the hotel owners helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make us comfortable. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are typical English and very well cooked. Bar prices are reasonable. We would heartily recommend the Middleton

We stayed at the Middleton on the 15th & 16th of March, We had a very warm welcome from Terry & Jan. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the front of the hotel you can see the illuminated Blackpool tower which is a terrific sight at night. Terry's breakfasts were first...

I wrote a quite lengthy review about this second-to-none small hotel after my wife (then my partner) and I had a weekend stay in March 2011. We're always doubtful about revisiting a hotel or resort in case of a let down but decided to re-book for a weekend with friends in February this year. We needn't have been concerned as...

We stayed here on the 19th to 21st october for my husband's 40th. The owners are lovely. Our room was just right for us and the dividing panel between us and the kids is a great idea. My husband said the shower curtain stuck to him but that's cos he's got a big bum! I was fine. The breakfast in...

This was a very small hotel more like a guest house The bar lounge doubled up as the breakfast room The owners were very friendly and the food was excellent. My husband and I were given a family room. There was no dressing table or suitable height table for attending to my contact lenses or make up. Perhaps this is because...

We stayed for 2 x nights at the end of September during the busy illuminations period, we booked three seperate rooms for our family party. Terry & Jan, the hotel owners are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is situated at the north-shore end of the town with free street parking available in the surrounding block.
