We stayed in this hotel, which is right on the beach front, with my 8 year old son. It was in an ideal location for all the attractions and we could see the pleasure beach from our bedroom window. The staff were very accommodating and helpful when we asked for a late check in. They were friendly and approachable and...

Stayed at The Colwyn Hotel for two nights at the end of April 2013. There was a large group of us who stayed there as our children were playing in a football tournament. The food was freshly cooked and tasted delicious! I am very fussy and picky, but there was lots of choice, and the staff were very helpful, often...

Stayed at the Colwyn recently with husband and friends. Charles, lovely chap, told us to take our cases to the rooms and he would have tea and biscuits ready for us in the lounge. Lovely start to an enjoyable few days. Food was excellent, rooms clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful, courteous and very friendly. No complaints whatsoever. Excellent value...

The day I booked I recieved a phone call from Ruby as I had requested a walk in shower as I am slightly disabled, she just wanted to know I could manage the lip on the shower tray. I aprecciated this call very much! We had also booked for two nights in October half school term to take two of...

Firstly, here's what I liked. It felt like being in a family - they called twice the evening we arrived to make sure we were en route - something other hotels could learn from. The waiting staff at breakfast were friendly and chatty and we were made to feel welcome. The view is pretty good - it's right on the...

Stayed in the Colwyn the first weekend of May as part of North Shields Juniors football team who were playing in a tournament close by. The staff, bar, food and location were all way above average and we all had a wonderful time. The only reason I havn't given an excellent rating is that the hotel was a little old...

The Colwyn has good reviews on here so I was expecting a little more than what I got. The double room was very dated and cramped. It wasn't the cleanest place I've stayed. Corridors and stairs were very tight and narrow. There are a lot of rooms here but there weren't hardly any guests, we only saw one other couple,...

Just returned from my second stay at the Hotel Colwyn and had a great weekend. The service is second to none and the staff cannot do enough for you. They go the extra mile. I had a single room which was warm and spacious with en-suite shower/toilet and flat screen t.v. Prices for drinks both alcoholic and none alcoholic were...

On arrival we were welcomed in with a birthday cake and a sea view :). Rooms were very clean and breakfast in the morning set us up for the days we spent in Blackpool. Charles and the staff were amazingly helpful and pointed us in the right direction on where was good to eat and drink. Would defiantly recommend The...

We stayed for 2 nights beginning of may. Hotel was clean and rooms good enough for our requirements. We had a lovely see view. The staff and owners were lovely and friendly and the owner was also very informative about the area. There is a tram stop right outside which was great and the off-road parking was a great bonus...
